With RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours), you'll design aircraft and spacecraft, develop propulsion systems, research new materials, test new engines, develop rockets and plan maintenance subjects.

In this internationally recognised degree you'll gain specialist skills in analysing, designing, and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software.

You'll study a broad range of areas such as aerodynamics, aerospace materials and structures, aerospace systems, design, dynamics and control, thermodynamics, and propulsion.

Minor options in Aircraft and Spacecraft Technologies will allow you to tailor the degree to suit your areas of interest and enhance your career opportunities.

Sustainability issues are built into multiple areas of the aerospace engineering degree. In the Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques, you will be taught to apply your knowledge of living systems to solving important practical issues including controlling disease and making the environment safer.
Using the latest industry-standard equipment, you’ll build the knowledge and skills required to work under supervision to:

• Examine micro-organisms or changes in cells and tissues
• Perform analysis of pathology, environmental and chemical samples
• Assist with research into biochemical or genetic processes.

You will also benefit from the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. Upon completion of this certificate, you may go on to work in vaccine production, food and materials testing, pathology, or research. Alternatively, you might prefer to pursue the Diploma of Laboratory Technology, or other further study of your choice.

In the Master of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), you will explore the application of scientific principles to understand risks to the safety of people in workplaces, and the actions required to control them.

It is a multidisciplinary profession with applications in all industries and commerce. 
Both community expectation and government legislation demand an increasingly higher level of protection for employees and the community from risks that threaten their safety and health. As such, there is also an increasing demand in society for professionals with experience and qualifications in OHS.
