To be awarded a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree, one additional year of study is required following the successful completion of the Bachelor of Business.
In the Honours year, you will complete courses to develop your research skills and a 20,000-word dissertation. Your dissertation topic will be decided in consultation with academic staff members and will focus on a topic or theme related to the stream of study you choose.

If you are keen to work as a psychologist, this degree will give you a thorough grounding in clinical, developmental, biological, cognitive, and social and organisational psychology.
You will learn how to use interpersonal skills and the principles of counselling to help people with personal, health, vocational and social difficulties.
You will also learn how to apply psychological theories to topics such as thinking and perceiving, motivation, stress, health and criminal activity.
In fourth year, you will begin formal research training and be introduced to professional psychological practice. You will complete an honours research project and study four core courses. You will need to achieve the required level of academic performance in the earlier years of the degree to be eligible for the fourth year of study.

Master of Design
The Master of Design (MDes) is an exploration of 21st century creative practices suited to current or emerging designers who wish to complement their existing skills with concepts, strategies, and technologies to solve complex problems in business, government and communities.
It offers students the opportunity to advance their skills and knowledge on design context and processes in multiple areas including experience design, design thinking, emerging design futures and business and professional practice. These courses are complimented by a range of practical/making courses in the areas of visual communication, prototyping, still/moving image and interactive design. The program gives a broad range of disciplines (design and non-design) the opportunity to upskill and build upon contemporary practices relevant to all designers and equip them with the knowledge base to pursue a major design research project of their choice.
Students will utilise both collaborative and individual working contexts to expand their knowledge of contemporary design processes at professional industry level. They will gain research and critical thinking skills which will be deployed in a major design project in the second year of the program. Graduates will be prepared for practice-led work and/or design strategy and leadership in macro, micro and freelance scenarios.

In this degree, you will learn the multifaceted practice of professional Industrial Design, from the blue-sky activities of idea-generation and invention to the rigorous knowledge of engineering science. You'll learn through making as you get hands-on with advanced technologies, including 3D printing and other methods of cutting-edge manufacturing through to traditional craft/hand-making technologies and techniques. You will be prepared for careers ranging from design for mass-production to small scale manufacture and everything in between. This degree sits within the discipline of Architecture, Design and Planning and many of the core courses sit within the discipline of Mechanical Engineering.
