The Master of Finance offers comprehensive preparation for those wishing to pursue or advance their career in the finance and investments industry. You will gain technical competencies and analytical skills and learn how to apply financial theory and quantitative techniques to make effective financial and investment decisions. You will build a solid foundation in finance and gain an in-depth understanding of investment principles with a strong appreciation of ethical and professional standards focusing on the curriculum of CFA Level II and III and CAIA examinations. The Bachelor of Science Advanced (Honours) caters for students who have demonstrated outstanding potential in the field of science. This degree follows the Bachelor of Science degree, giving you the opportunity to engage in research early by taking one Advanced Studies course each trimester.

You'll undertake a major research project and be individually guided and mentored by one or more of our outstanding scientific researchers. In your final year, you'll complete an honours project in your chosen specialisation. The final year includes a "capstone" experience where you have the option to undertake a research project or participate in industry internships to gain employment-relevant experience. Combining a discipline specific major with a major in Environmental Management will equip you with the broad set of knowledge and skills needed to be an environmental science professional.

The Graduate Diploma of Law Research Studies is an 80 credit point program designed to provide graduates in the Law discipline with the opportunity to undertake advanced study in research methodology and to undertake supervised research work, in the discipline area appropriate to their research trajectory.

The program provides the necessary preparation for entry into a higher degree research program (Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), or equivalent program) for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission into these programs. The program will also be available to students who wish to undertake advanced studies in the identified disciplinary fields, but who may not wish to progress to MPhil or PhD study.

When you combine science and arts you'll develop the critical thinking and communication skills along with specialised skills and practical knowledge in the biological, clinical, chemical, physical and mathematical sciences. You'll have the freedom to tailor your degree around your interests in your foundation first year before gaining specialist knowledge and abilities - based on your chosen majors - throughout the remainder of your studies.

This degree sits within both the humanities and science departments, offering you a broad choice of majors from either study area. You'll gain specialised skills and practical knowledge in the biological, clinical, chemical, physical or mathematical sciences, paired with the creative thinking and perspective of your chosen arts major.

The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Business provides an alternative route for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission.

Upon successful completion of the program, students may be eligible for admission to a MPhil or PhD subject to fulfilment of requirements for candidature as specified in the Higher Degree Research policy, and successful completion of the confirmation procedure. The grade achieved will determine entry to either a PhD or MPhil candidature (see the Pathways to further study section for further information).

The Program Director will be responsible for the overall supervision of the student and monitoring their progress throughout the program.

Students may choose to exit the Graduate Diploma program (after successfully completing the specified courses) with the Graduate Certificate in Research Studies in Business.
