The Master of Urban and Environmental Planning is Australia's only postgraduate program that equips you with the qualifications to work as a traditional town planner as well as an environmental professional.

Taught by leading Australian and international academics in urban and regional planning, environmental planning, transport planning, social and cultural planning, and tourism planning, the programs cover the theoretical knowledge and practical skills planners need to deal effectively with contemporary planning and development challenges.

The Bachelor of Communication and Journalism/Bachelor of Science will combine the specialised disciplines of biological, clinical, chemical, physical and mathematical sciences with the skills and capacity to communicate these within various professions, and to the broader public. The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Engineering is an 80 credit point program that provides an alternative route for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission.

The Griffith Sciences Group will be responsible for the overall supervision of the student and monitoring their progress throughout the program.

This program gives you a unique opportunity to prepare for a career as an environmental scientist or as an urban and environmental planner. The Graduate Diploma of Law Research Studies is an 80 credit point program designed to provide graduates in the Law discipline with the opportunity to undertake advanced study in research methodology and to undertake supervised research work, in the discipline area appropriate to their research trajectory.

The program provides the necessary preparation for entry into a higher degree research program (Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), or equivalent program) for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission into these programs. The program will also be available to students who wish to undertake advanced studies in the identified disciplinary fields, but who may not wish to progress to MPhil or PhD study.

To be awarded a Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) degree, one additional year of study is required following the successful completion of the Bachelor of Nursing.
