What you'll learn

This one-year Honours degree (or two years part-time) will introduce you to high-level research and help you develop the skills necessary to engage in rigorous research and analysis in your selected creative discipline. It can be used in preparation for postgraduate and PhD studies or research and leadership roles.

What you'll learn
You will learn skills necessary for conducting research in disciplines including Contemporary Art, Communication Design, Illustration Animation, Product Design, Cultural Studies, Film and Television, Journalism and Professional Writing, Communication and Media, Creative Writing, Social Media, Screen Studies and more. You will apply these skills to frame and develop your own research project, producing an outcome that responds to your research questions, project aims and objectives. Outcomes are visual and/or written, as appropriate for your disciplinary focus and project. Throughout your research studies you will be supervised by experienced research academics.
 

With a focus on design research, theory and practice, this graduate diploma will prepare you for a career as an interior architect or interior designer. 

You will study the development and application of research processes. Through our industry connections, you will be given the opportunity to work on creative projects, developing skills in writing project proposals and presenting information.

A focus on practical learning also means you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to design stimulating, sustainable and visually appealing interiors, as well as the confidence to embark on real-world projects.

Through your studies, you will develop an advanced understanding of the theoretical aspects of design, industry trends and design processes. You will also develop cognitive skills needed to review and analyse research. The graduate diploma includes design research studio classes, research methods, sustainable design, business practice, and electives.
 

What you'll learn

This degree is made up of 40 courses. You will do 24 courses in law and 16 courses in management.  

Laws (Honours)

As a UniSA Law student, you’ll gain valuable skills from day one, including in reasoning, reporting, analysis, negotiation, communication and advocacy. You will also experience what it's like to argue a case and provide legal advice.

Throughout your degree you will study core courses that teach you the fundamental legal concepts that underpin the Australian legal system. Courses such as torts, contracts, criminal law and constitutional law will give you a good understanding of basic legal principles.

Our Law program also features courses that build your leadership skills, intercultural communication, project management and capacity for community engagement.

You will have the opportunity to have practical learning experiences including mooting, negotiation, and witness examination. You will also engage in a Community Justice project, high-level research or an industry placement, ensuring you’ll be prepared for legal practise upon graduation.

Management

You will study core courses such as Business and Society, Career Development for Professionals and Organisational Behaviour. You will also learn the latest in specialist areas such as:

This program is recognised as an approved program by Financial Adviser Standards, The Treasury1 and will equip you with the education requirements to practise as a qualified financial adviser.

We’ve worked closely with industry to develop our course content, and regularly consult with Treasury to ensure your Graduate Diploma meets the most up-to-date industry standards.

Our Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning is best suited to:

•     existing financial advisers with a non-relevant degree; or
•     existing financial advisers with no degree; or
•     new entrants with a relevant degree.*

What you'll learn

This program consists of eight advanced financial planning courses, which you can complete in one year of full-time study (or part-time equivalent). Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) based on Treasury requirements for existing advisers will be considered and can reduce the number of courses you must complete.

This degree will develop your knowledge of the global business environment and enable you to maximise your career development opportunities and employment prospects. You will benefit from a range of experience-based learning opportunities, including overseas study trips and business mentorships with a senior business leader through the Executive Partners Program.

You will learn about business strategy, international trade, global marketing and international human resource management with a focus on the design and planning of effective media, and brand management strategy.

What you'll learn

The two year program comprises 16 courses, including 4 electives and an industry placement/project. You will start with seven core courses common to all specialisations in the IMBA. Through these you will develop advanced skills and expertise in areas of international management including:

• People leadership and performance
• Economic principles for business
• Fundamentals of data analytics

This innovative Masters degree will give you a broad knowledge of IT disciplines and a solid foundation in business practices.
