The Bachelor of Accounting holds triple accreditation with CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Depending on your majors, you’ll also be eligible to become a member of the Financial Planning Association or register with the Tax Practitioners Board as a tax agent.

Taxation

The specialised subjects in this major analyse core and contemporary issues in taxation using case studies and discussion.

The major is designed to meet the educational requirements for graduates to apply for registration as tax agents (subject to relevant work experience), provided students choose subjects 200012 Property Law as an elective.

On-campus animal facilities include those for reptiles, small marsupials and rodents, sheep and cattle, as well as over 1000ha of native, rural and aquatic habitats. This major will enable students to graduate with practical laboratory and fieldwork skills that will prepare you across a wide variety of disciplines in this field.

Graduates of this degree can look forward to career opportunities as a zoologist, in animal nutrition, in reproduction technology, genetics, behaviour and health, product development and physiology, scientific officer and science communicator. Animal Science

Interactions between people and animals are increasing due to our reliance on animals for companionship and food production. Mathematics

his major covers topics in the traditional areas of calculus and algebra. Single and multivariable calculus are covered, as well as topics in linear algebra, analysis and mathematical modelling. This major is available to all undergraduate students and may meet the NSW Institute of Teachers accreditation requirements for teaching Mathematics as a first subject in NSW state high schools.

The Honours program is available to high achieving students in the Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine.

As a high achieving student you may apply for entry into the Honours program in year 3 of your Bachelor degree. You then begin advanced research training in the latter half of year 3. Clinical placements and an honours thesis are completed during the fourth year of the program.

The thesis presents research that addresses real podiatric problems and education across the lifespan. This research will be conducted under the supervision of experienced academic researchers.

Speech pathology assesses and treats disorders of communication in areas such as speech, voice, language and swallowing in children and adults. Sport Management

The Sport Management major is designed for people who seek careers in Australian and international Sport management.
