You can design your own academic program within the Bachelor of Science program structure, which must include a Science major. This can be combined with a Business major from a variety of disciplines.

The testamur major Environmental Health, when combined with the major Environmental Futures in a Bachelor of Science, will equip you to explore the diverse range of natural and built-environment challenges that confront us, from the mitigation of human health impacts of global climate change through to the more localised issues of air and water quality, waste management, food security, environmental noise and healthy communities. This major covers theories and technologies of big data with applications to information systems. Students completing this major will possess and apply the technical skills for managing large volumes and varieties of data in the information systems context.

Applied Physics

Applied Physics uses the principles and tools of physics to understand and manipulate the world around us, and covers fields as diverse as astrophysics, biophysics, magnetic resonance (i.e., NMR and MRI), medical physics, remote sensing, semiconductor physics, space science and much more.

In this major, the core principles of physics, mathematics and computing are taught and used to study specific applications of physics. Students have access to world class facilities (e.g, telescopes and onsite ultra-high field MRI), and the expertise of international researchers. Increasingly, healthcare information is being captured electronically and newer technology modes are being applied in many innovative ways to support efficient and effective clinical care. Heritage and Tourism

At the same time heritage places have become significant tourist destinations and so in a world of flows and networks, the heritage-tourism relationship is a critical one. In the 21st century it is impossible to disentangle the two.

This major introduces contemporary heritage issues and provides an in-depth understanding of tourism as a social phenomenon.

Building Design Management involves the synthesis of technical knowledge with an understanding of building occupant needs, site context and aesthetics. This degree enables you to develop expertise in designing integrated, practical, spatial, technical and environmentally sustainable building projects.

The Bachelor of Building Design Management program provides you with the knowledge and skills required to undertake lead roles in the ‘Design and Construct’ stream of building procurement, as well as becoming team members in the design of large and complex building development projects.

Our construction graduates are known within the industry to be highly motivated and commercially adept. With an additional skill set in building design, you will be well placed to lead adaptive and more sustainable construction project solutions.
