Canadian Studies will offer you unparalleled insight into the life and history of Canada, and through the program’s co-op stream, you can get a close look at the role it plays in the world and workplaces today. By pursuing a degree in the co-op stream, you’ll graduate with 12 months of work experience and a deep understanding of Canada’s national identity.

Spanish
Spanish is the second most-spoken first language in the world, spoken widely throughout the Americas as well as in Spain, of course, and other parts of the world. As such it is an important language for global business, politics, and culture.

At Trent you may take introductory and intermediate courses in Spanish which will allow you to communicate with Spanish speakers across the globe. All introductory courses are open to students with no prior knowledge of the language.

Discovering new ways to grow our food sustainably has become an increasingly crucial global challenge.
