The University of Windsor, Faculty of Engineering offers a Master of Engineering (MEng) Program which is course-based designed for working professionals or recent graduates who want to increase their knowledge in multiple, advanced topics.

Our graduate programs are designed to prepare students for successful and rewarding professional careers in environmental engineering. Graduates will find themselves meeting the challenges of efficient building design, improving the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, traffic congestion, energy needs and urban redevelopment. Mechanical engineers are responsible for the design, analysis, construction, maintenance, and operation of machines and systems in a number of industry sectors, such as automotive, aerospace, power generation, manufacturing, steel, and pulp and paper. Mechanical engineers commonly go beyond the limits of purely mechanical work, and are found at all levels of management in private industry and the public sector.

You will learn how the universe works—from the fundamental forces of nature to their effects on matter and the environment around us. We offer lots of opportunities for hands-on learning, and the ability to customize your degree to your interests through optional courses or by combining your physics degree with another discipline.

Be on the cutting edge of scientific research in this program that focuses on human health and disease. The curriculum integrates hands-on learning in labs and provides opportunities for undergraduate research. You will be exposed to the latest molecular and cellular biology research and technology while building transferable skills that are essential to careers in health sciences, industry, government and education.

Calling all future health professionals! This program gives you a strong background in both biochemistry and biomedical sciences, fundamental to health and medicine. You’ll be in a lab within the first two weeks of this program and get the chance to conduct undergraduate research with hands-on learning in courses like CURE. You’ll get a chance to work alongside clinical researchers and medical professionals to learn about funding, project management, communication and other issues of cancer and health research.

Criminology examines criminal activity, legal issues, policing, regulation, the criminal justice system, and security as major factors in society. In our program-the most established in Ontario-you’ll learn how crimes and illegalities are defined, the enforcement and administration of laws, punishments and sanctions, and issues of law, morality and justice. A strong foundation for such careers as police services, corrections, border services and social service agencies.
