Advanced Strength and Conditioning

Learn how to conduct and apply advanced assessment and intervention techniques to competitive athletes. Your studies also include planning a testing session for a group of competitive athletes (including risk management) and the application of sports strapping.

Applied Professional Practice: Strength and Conditioning 

Immerse yourself in structured industry environments so that you can independently apply and develop your knowledge and practical skill set in delivering structured training programmes to athletes. Your studies also include conducting a pilot research project and reporting on the effectiveness of your interventions on performance-related parameters.

Your studies also include conducting a pilot research project and reporting on the effectiveness of your interventions on health-related parameters.

The Graduate Diploma in Information & Communication Technology (Computer Networks) will enable you to enhance your knowledge base and gain industry-needed skills through advanced study of the following areas:

UCOL's new Bachelor of Social Services will provide you with specialist knowledge and skills to gain employment in a variety of areas such as community/social services worker, disability support advocate/worker, mental health advocate/support worker, navigator or case manager.

Working with people is a core component of this program and this course will give you an understanding of how social and community dynamics can impact on individuals, families and groups of people. The program will provide you with learning opportunities that include face to face, simulation/role play, group work and work experience. At the end of the program you will have the confidence to work in the community to create change.

With practical industry experience built into this three-year program, as well as workplace assignments and case studies, UCOL's Bachelor of Applied Management students are well prepared for a career in business and management.

UCOL's Bachelor of Nursing will provide you with learning opportunities that enable you to become an effective registered nurse, providing competent, comprehensive nursing care.

When you enrol in UCOL’s Bachelor of Nursing program you'll be assigned your own personal tutor to guide you right through your nursing journey. They’ll support you through the curriculum, which includes up to 160 hours of clinical placements in your first year. Later in the program these clinical experiences will include primary health care, medical and surgical, and mental health settings.

UCOL’s Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology begins with a broad foundation in essential ICT skills and technologies and progresses toward a number of specialist areas including software engineering, systems analysis, databases, web development, networks installation, and project management.
