Graduates of the Business Management with Social Purpose pathway will have the skills, experience and knowledge necessary to lead and manage projects, movements and organisations in the public, private or non-profit sectors.

By learning the fundamentals of business management and having an in-depth understanding of local and global socio-economic issues, you’ll be part of the next generation of change makers and leaders.

You’ll learn about strategy, human resources, operational management, finance and accounting, marketing, corporate reputation management, social entrepreneurship and enterprise, corporate social responsibility and investment, non-profit management and the management of culture, values and business ethics.

You’ll also apply the principles you learn to real-world scenarios. In your third year, for example, your final project involves working with major firms and enterprises to assess their engagement with social enterprise and corporate social responsibility. You also have a number of electives to choose from like our Mentoring & Coaching for Leadership module.

You will study a broad curriculum in your first two years – learning about cognitive, behavioural and biological psychology – before having the opportunity to specialise in your final year.

On this four-year degree, you will develop advanced knowledge of game engine architecture, computer graphics and game design.

You will develop a strong understanding of the main areas of psychology – cognition, development, biology and the history of psychological theories – as well as key theories and concepts of criminology and criminal justice.

Learning from research-active staff and practitioners across two academic departments, you will have the opportunity to study topics combining your two specialisms, including: forensic psychology, memory and the law, and judgement and decision making.

Diagnostic radiographers use imaging techniques – such as radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound – to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of illness.

This accredited course provides the technological, biological and social knowledge required to practise as a diagnostic radiographer within a healthcare team.

City, University of London has one of the best-equipped radiography training facilities in the country and we’re 1st in London for Medical Technology. We offer students a unique learning environment, mirroring many of the facilities you will encounter in professional practice.

A pioneer in defining the cultural landscape for over four decades, this programme lets you design and navigate your own learning of culture, policy and management. You can investigate your own specialist area and shape your own professional path.

What you will learn:

• How to identify and apply analytical frameworks to your own research and professional practice
• Ways of evaluating theories and practices of cultural policy and management
• Methods of analysing key factors affecting cultural policymaking and management
• Approaches to evaluate research and methodologies within the cultural sector
• Forms of theorising and communicating principles of cultural policy and management to stakeholders
• How to undertake a credible research project in independent cultural policy or management.

This master’s degree is ideal if you have an undergraduate degree and a passion for the arts. You may also have experience working in the cultural sector and wish to study a specialist field.

This course is flexible and suits a range of interests. Previous subjects have included policies for the creative city, the democratisation of opera and the motivations of young fashion entrepreneurs.

Therapeutic radiographers use advanced technology to plan and deliver highly accurate radiotherapy for those suffering from cancer, helping cure or give symptomatic relief.

The course is designed to help you form a solid foundation of knowledge, provide opportunities to apply your knowledge in professional clinical practice and to understand the latest advances in radiotherapy.

City, University of London provides excellent radiotherapy learning facilities, mirroring many you will encounter in professional practice.

• Develop your skills in our VERT (Virtual Environment for Radiotherapy Training) room which creates a fully immersive, life-sized 3D simulation of a radiotherapy treatment room
• Use the Varian Eclipse dosimetry planning system, the same as used in clinical practice for the design of radiotherapy treatments
• Spend approximately half your time on clinical placement – recent students have worked at the Royal Free Hospital, the Royal Marsden (Chelsea), University College London Hospital, The London Clinic and St Bartholomew's Hospitals
• Rotate through different placement locations to gain a deep understanding of different techniques and approaches.

This accredited integrated master’s covers mechanical, computational and sustainable life-cycle engineering in this high-tech field.

Over four years, students develop professional engineering skills, with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions to future mechanical engineering systems.

Individual and group engineering design projects demonstrate students’ expertise to future employers. Whilst a fourth year, at master’s level, it helps to transition from study to professional practice.
