We aim to give you the skills to quickly progress from the basics of writing news for print or online to producing audio-visual journalism for TV, radio and online.

You will learn how to investigate and communicate across multimedia platforms and work ethically and legally.

Our program covers how to investigate using open and closed sources, different interviewing techniques, how to use access to information laws, and ethical undercover work.

Objectives

The Accounting and Finance degree is both highly selective and highly demanding. You will be working hard for the rewards it delivers. The degree is delivered in strategic partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). By meeting the relevant criteria, BSc Accounting and Finance students can achieve up to eight exemptions from the ICAEW's Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA) and receive similar exemptions from other professional accountancy bodies.
