Objectives

The Accounting and Finance degree is both highly selective and highly demanding. You will be working hard for the rewards it delivers. The degree is delivered in strategic partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). By meeting the relevant criteria, BSc Accounting and Finance students can achieve up to eight exemptions from the ICAEW's Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA) and receive similar exemptions from other professional accountancy bodies.

This programme combines academic rigour with the development of practical, transferable skills that can be applied in a wide range of health policy, planning and management settings. The Engineering Systems course takes an interdisciplinary approach to complex systems and the analysis of interactions to enable the successful realization and use of engineered systems in industry and globally.

Over four years, you will develop the professional engineering skills required, with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions to current and future problems in engineering systems.

Individual and group engineering design projects demonstrate your expertise to future employers and helps you transition from study to professional practice.
