Study this course and you'll become a registered learning disabilities nurse, ready to make a positive difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities. You'll study the factors that affect people's health and wellbeing, the health inequalities in our society and how we can improve health outcomes for people with a learning disability and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC).

You'll explore the management of complex conditions across the lifespan, from children to the older person and those with dementia, or other mental or physical health needs.

You'll gain hands-on experience in our award-winning simulation suite and develop your skills and confidence in caring for people by working with the famous Baked Bean Theatre Company.

You'll also have the opportunity to be a part of the wider Learning Disability Nursing UK and Eire network and can attend the Positive Choices Learning Disability Conference.

This course is designed for a small and enthusiastic cohort of students, where you'll benefit from individual learning and support. You will be taught by our dynamic teaching team which includes leading researchers and experts in Learning Disability nursing from practice and the Department of Health.

Placement providers include South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust, Surrey and Borders Partnership Trust, Great Ormond Street, The Children's Trust, and The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.

This course is a combination of two highly successful courses run by the Business School – the Accounting and Finance MSc and the International Business Management MSc. Both have established international reputations for excellence.

This course is suitable for students who have not studied economics, finance or accountancy at bachelors level, as well as those with previous qualifications and experience.

This course provides you with theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed to register as a children's nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Children's nurses provide care for children and young people from birth to 18 years of age across settings, for example hospital, home and hospice. The role of the children's nurse includes promoting health and minimising illness in collaboration with families. When providing nursing care for children, working with the family and consideration of their needs is essential.

Children's nurses work collaboratively with a range of professionals to meet the specific needs of children, young people and their families wherever they are cared for.

Within our state-of-the-art simulation suites, our children's nursing students can further develop the skills required to care for children and families in a safe environment, which closely mimics a health care environment (hospital and home). Family role players are central to this learning experience.

You will have a diverse range of quality placements where you will develop your nursing skills under the supervision of supportive practitioners.

You will have the opportunity to take a national or international elective module at the end of your first year.

Knowledge of real estate is relevant to the properties we live in, work in and spend our leisure time in. If you are interested in becoming a chartered surveyor this course is ideal.

Centred around the property life cycle, you'll study valuation, law, property and asset management as well as economics, planning and development. Your studies will reflect the need for responsibly managed and sustainable environments.

Through a placement or an entrepreneurship module, this course offers business experience, helping you stand out when seeking a job. The Business Readiness Programme develops your business skills so you can hit the ground running when you start a work placement or graduate job.

Our Public Relations and Corporate Communications MA is a highly specialised and focussed programme designed for those who want to pursue a career in the broader field of corporate communications and public relations. This includes working for an agency or in-house for a company or organisation. Roles may include PR manager, internal/external communications or investor relations.

Over the course of the programme, you will learn to:

• Identify and understand different stakeholder groups and markets, enabling you to develop effective communication styles for clients of a multitude of different educational or cultural backgrounds;
• Understand value and competitive advantage;
• Utilise the latest research in corporate and marketing communications and adapt this to a practical setting through workshops and projects;
• Understand best practice in relation to marketing communications in general and, more specifically, corporate and public communications.

This three-year masters course has been designed for graduates who would like to gain the knowledge, skills and values necessary to register as midwives on the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) professional register. This is an NMC approved course.

If you have a broad range of musical interests and would prefer not to specialise your studies, this course is ideal.
