Our Marketing Communications and Advertising MSc is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). The course is highly practical, giving you hands-on experience. You'll spend 50 per cent of your time on placement in hospitals, in the community and in our skills and simulation labs developing valuable hands-on skills. . You'll work with patients, carers, clinical mentors and other healthcare professionals. Placement opportunities include medical and surgical wards, oncology, ICU, A&E, coronary care, operating theatres, district nursing, GP practice nursing and integrated community teams..

Study this course and you'll become a registered learning disabilities nurse, ready to make a positive difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities. You'll study the factors that affect people's health and wellbeing, the health inequalities in our society and how we can improve health outcomes for people with a learning disability and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC).

You'll explore the management of complex conditions across the lifespan, from children to the older person and those with dementia, or other mental or physical health needs.

You'll gain hands-on experience in our award-winning simulation suite and develop your skills and confidence in caring for people by working with the famous Baked Bean Theatre Company.

You'll also have the opportunity to be a part of the wider Learning Disability Nursing UK and Eire network and can attend the Positive Choices Learning Disability Conference.

This degree will prepare you for a career working with children, young people and their families in a variety of settings across health, social care, education and youth justice.

You will have two work placements with our partner organisations, giving you the opportunity to put theory into practice. Placements will be in settings such as youth justice, early intervention, health services, schools and children's centres. We also give you the option to find your own placement with children and young people in a field you feel personally passionately about.

You'll develop a knowledge of social pedagogy practice, an inclusive and holistic approach to wellbeing, learning and growth. This degree is approved by the Social Pedagogy Professional Association (SPPA).

This Composing for Film and Television course is designed for composers aspiring to work in the media industry and wanting to learn more about techniques for composing and producing music for film and TV. You will learn from experienced composers working across a variety of different media and styles. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with student filmmakers and animators from other courses.

You'll produce and record music in our fantastic, unique facilities. In partnership with world-famous record producer Tony Visconti, the British Library and Science Museum, the Visconti Studio comprises of a 300m² octagonal live room stocked with rare and vintage recording equipment.
