Our undergraduate BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree will provide you with the specialist knowledge and expertise required for a professional career in electrical and electronic engineering. Study electrical engineering at Manchester Met and you’ll start off by getting a solid introduction to key engineering principles, before specialising in subjects such as electrical energy systems, control and automation, and electronic systems design. As computing technology becomes more integral to our homes, workplaces and public services, cybercrime is increasingly widespread and dangerous. With our BSc (Hons) Cyber Security, you’ll be part of the solution as you learn to investigate breaches and harness secure systems.

Investigating disease at a cellular level means joining the fight against some of the most serious disorders afflicting humans. It’s your chance to look beyond the headlines and explore the scientific, political and practical realities of protecting the environment.

This course is suited to those looking to enhance their environmental science or management backgrounds, and also those from other backgrounds looking to move into the sector and complement their skills with environmental science and with environmental management aspects.

As such, you’ll cover a diverse range of units throughout the course. SODA Placement Year
As part of your studies with SODA, you will have the chance to take a year working on placement within the industry. During your year, you will spend at least 36 weeks working within an organisation in the industry, developing workplace skills, practical understanding and genuine industry experience.
