Our Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Management MSc will help you to harness your creativity and make your entrepreneurship goals a reality. It is ideal if you want to start your own enterprise, enter the family business or become a consultant who can work innovatively in a corporate setting.

You will explore topics including launching new ventures, entrepreneurial finances and e-business. You can also study venture capital and private equity, through a practical module that uses real life case studies and guest speakers with vast experience as venture capitalists.

The entrepreneurship project in semester two enables you to work to a brief and deliver a consultancy style report and presentation for the project sponsor - typically a founder of an entrepreneurial SME.

You will also be eligible for membership of the Ingenuity Lab, which will give you access to a wide range of roundtables and seminars hosted by our Entrepreneurs in Residence who also provide mentoring if you choose to undertake a summer business plan instead of a traditional dissertation.

Artificial intelligence is changing our homes, workplaces and lifestyles. Our course lets you explore this subject with optional modules in user experience design, autonomous systems, and machine learning.

You'll take part in a group project in year two which prepares you for creating the computer systems of the future. Many projects are in collaboration with industry. Previous students have worked with Capital One, Experian, IBM and UniDays. This is great for your CV and can help you make contacts ready for you to start your career. 

The industry year lets you to take what you've learned and apply it to real projects in industry. Placements may be paid and can even lead to a job offer before you've graduated.

Our MA Education allows you to consider education in all of its complexity, as something that both reflects and works to construct different aspects of our social lives and the way our society is organised.

Computer Science is playing a key role in many industries all around the world. Developments in artificial intelligence, apps and cyber security are changing how we live, work and socialise. This course will give you the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a range of high-level careers.

Core modules will develop your knowledge in key topics such as programming, databases, and networks. Optional modules give you the flexibility to broaden your knowledge in specialist areas, including machine learning, autonomous robotics, and human-AI interaction. 

You will undertake an individual research project in an area of your choice. This could be in collaboration with an industry partner to build your experience and connections. You can also work with one of our world-leading research groups. Previous projects have included:

If you choose to focus your study and research in the field of AI, you can graduate with a degree titled ‘MSc Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)’.
