Following an in-depth foundation in biochemistry, this course broadens out to allow a focus on more specialist fields. These include biophysical chemistry, which covers biological macromolecules at the atomic level, and understanding the genome and gene regulation.

Our exciting MSc in Economics and International Financial Economics is designed to link economic theory and empirical economics with the practice of international finance.

The course will provide you with a thorough grounding in advanced core areas of microeconomic and macroeconomic theory, econometrics and research methods, plus the opportunity to specialise in international financial economics, engaging in contemporary theoretical and empirical debates.

You will be automatically enrolled on a pre-sessional Mathematics and Statistics programme to equip you with the relevant methodological skills you need to succeed. By the end of the course, you will be able to read and understand research papers and articles in academic journals, build theoretical models, and initiate empirical research and evaluate its findings.

The central content is the concept of a supply network: constructing the relationships that bring it into being; commissioning the technologies that enable it to operate; managing the input, the material and the information flow; and distributing the product.

This integrated joint honours course combines the study of computer science and electronic engineering, focusing on the design of computer systems and their real-time applications.

Our accredited Computer Systems Engineering degree is designed for students who want to integrate the study of computer science and electronic engineering, developing a sought-after set of skills at the interface of these closely related disciplines.

The course is taught jointly by the Department of Computer Science and the School of Engineering.

This course is designed for technically-minded graduates with a background in computer science, mathematics or the physical sciences.

It provides a distinctive perspective on data analytics that combines aspects of computer science, business, engineering and mathematics. Alongside the technical skills and expertise the course develops, this means that our graduates can pursue opportunities at the forefront of an emerging discipline that will continue to revolutionise science and industry for years to come.

This MA will foster your ability to read a wide range of Greek and/or Latin texts in the original language and to develop nuanced understanding of the methodologies and critical approaches to the study of these texts within their historical, cultural and political contexts. It provides an intensive introduction to literary theory tailored specifically to classicists, making it a unique pathway in the UK for classicists contemplating going on to a doctorate, and harnesses Warwick's strong interdisciplinary links between its departments of Classics and Ancient History, English and Comparative Literary Studies, and Philosophy.

You will undertake rigorous training in the close reading of texts and of Greco-Roman culture, while having flexibility to pursue your related interests both within the field of Classics and beyond through optional modules. This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to be at the forefront of these exciting developments and is delivered in partnership with WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group), renowned worldwide for its innovative links between academia and industry.

All Engineering students at Warwick develop an in-depth understanding of the classical principles of Engineering by following a general engineering programme for the first four terms. You can then specialise in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, where you will learn and develop state-of-the-art techniques and methodologies that graduates find directly applicable in industry.

By choosing the MEng degree you can explore specialist areas of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering through fourth-year core and optional module choices and a group project.

Study abroad

• You may choose to take an intercalated year in industry, research or study abroad between years two and three (BEng and MEng) or between years three and four (MEng only). If you choose to take an intercalated year this will be reflected in your degree title, and add a year to your degree program.
• As an MEng student you may choose to take your third year as an exchange year at a partner university abroad, subject to academic requirements and approval of study programme.
