Our civil and environmental engineering course is designed to give you a better understanding of the relationship between civil engineering and current environmental issues.

Policing encompasses all the activities that prevent crime, detect offenders, and enhance community safety. Study with us and you will complete a course which, subject to validation, is licensed by the College of Policing (the Professional Body for policing in the UK) and which will bring to life the theory and reality of working as a police officer or in one of the careers which helps to keep people safe and secure.

The BSc (Hons) Professional Policing is a professional academic knowledge-based degree, based upon the national curriculum for the police constable role. It can only be offered by organisations that have been licensed by the College of Policing. One route to being a police officer is to gain this qualification before applying to join the police service. You would then need to successfully apply to join a police force as a probationary police constable. National and local entry requirements would need to be met, and achievement of the degree does not guarantee a successful application.

This MSc Information Systems course aims to give you a full understanding of how information systems (IS) are designed, constructed and integrated within organisations. On this course, you will evaluate the role of fashion public relations and its relationship to strategic fashion branding and brand identity communication. You will gain insights into critical issues, innovations and challenges within the global fashion, media and communication industries and identify relevant areas of professional conduct. You will understand how relevant current cultural topics impact the fashion industry and how fashion brands integrate these topics into their communication strategies. You will also study events management and sponsorship for fashion and luxury sectors.

You will deconstruct the process of public relations into its components, and study relevant theories that underpin each component with reference to historical and current examples for communication strategies and models. On our MA Global Black Studies course, we will situate Black studies, culture, and identity in a global context.  The master’s degree aims to unite global perspectives, through course modules you will investigate the underlying historical, cultural, and contemporary patterns of social change. We will look at social change in broad terms but also through specific case studies.
