The BA (Hons) Film and Screen Business addresses the need for highly motivated and knowledgeable producers and business managers and developers within the fast growing and innovative creative industries sector.

Offered in conjunction with ScreenSpace, who provide practical training for creatives, the course challenges you to embrace current narrative and production techniques for screen and television. We will also cover emerging trends, and key business skills which you will then use to develop high-level business plans and strategies.

You’ll learn to navigate the modern media environment; film and media content production and delivery; financing and funding; data and analytics; legal and accounting principles; marketing strategy, exploitation and distribution. The foundation year course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to continue onto your Honours degree. You will study a range of subjects that will underpin your future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows you to progress straight onto Level 4 of this course.
