This course equips you with the knowledge and skills required by physiotherapists to

This honours degree is for those who have a strong interest in mechanical engineering and a clear desire to develop their knowledge and skills in automotive engineering. It has been designed for the automotive industry (regional and national) in response to the shortfall of mechanical engineers.

Automotive engineering is a growing sector, many reports show that up to 28,000 new jobs will have to be fulfilled by 2020. 95% of our graduates are in a professional or managerial job with 6 months after the course (Unistats 16)

The course explores fully the engineering, design, analysis and development of modern cars using various race cars as support for teaching. It also puts emphasis on learning transferable skills, which are applicable to many other industries.

From studying the Foundation Year, learners will be able to develop with knowledge, understanding and skills of Engineering-based disciplines and their applications which help learners prepare for further years of study and success in engineering degree.

Wrexham Glyndwr University has a proven track of success in Automotive Engineering and Motorsport. The course contains modules covering the essential aspects of the automotive engineering field, providing a solid background for a career in the automotive engineering and motorsport sector.

Lecturers and supporting staff have the required industrial experience and are practitioners (track racing, car building. etc.).

The laboratories at Wrexham Glyndwr University are equipped with up-to-date specialist equipment and vehicles.

The programme provides the opportunity to combine practical aspects as well as simulation-based projects. The university operates a computer lab with industry relevant software, e.g. CATIA, ANSYS (Mechanical and CFD)

This degree has been designed to provide a detailed knowledge of numerous scientific disciplines and how they can be applied to investigate a wide range of crimes. The programme has been tailored to train students to become competent and skilled scientists, able to conduct analysis of materials, interpret complex results, and present their evidence as expert witnesses.

With a strong practical focus, this course will train students in a wide variety of fields, including crime scene investigation, biology and chemistry. You will use our dedicated laboratories, crime scene house, and taphonomic facility (body farm) to test and hone your scientific skills. With the Foundation Year giving you a solid introduction to university and the Built Environment, our Architectural Design Technology degree explores how design and technology work together, giving you practical working knowledge of both areas.

The course is fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and you will be eligible for Associate Membership (ACIAT) on graduation. You can progress to full Chartered status with appropriate experience, and being a Chartered Architectural Technologists will give you all the same powers as an Architect but in considerably less time.

This course is also available to study as a three-year programme without a foundation year BSc (Hons) Architectural Design Technology
