This programme focuses on state-of-the-art practical and theoretical aspects of a wide range of electronic engineering systems including integrated systems programming, advanced inverter technology, state-of-the-art mobile phone signal processing and nanotechnology clean-room applications. Design and build your own hardware and benefit from hands-on practical experience in well-equipped labs supported by expert researchers and practising engineers.

The MSc Electrical and Electronic Engineering will appeal to you if you are a design engineer. The programme provides an in-depth knowledge of specialist areas in electrical and electronic engineering underpinned by the theory and practice of modern electronics and renewable energy systems, together with the associated signal processing and embedded programming techniques. The modules have been selected to give you an even balance of essential modern areas of electrical and electronic engineering. The communications content will give you a broad grounding in communication theory and systems while the signal processing content is generally biased toward applications in communications engineering. Podiatrists are experts in foot and ankle health keeping people of all ages active. Choosing to become a podiatrist will give you a broad scope of practice with a scientific approach to diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of people with foot problems. A podiatry degree can launch a dynamic career and is a springboard to specialising in other areas of the profession such as sports medicine, injection therapy, independent prescribing, clinical research and podiatric surgery.

As a podiatry graduate you will be a highly skilled health professional who can work confidently with a variety of different patients in a range of settings. Interprofessional teams of clinical researchers are needed in order to bridge a transitional gap between scientific innovation and healthcare, and to optimise patient care and ensure efficiency of costs for healthcare providers. This programme provides in-depth training in qualitative and quantitative research methods and equips you with the skills to direct, develop, manage and deliver research in any clinical setting

This programme originated as a result of close collaboration with the NIHR, HEE and the student voice. The programme offers either full-time or flexible part-time pathways, designed to accommodate busy clinical caseloads/postgraduate occupations.

Are you fascinated by the designs of large coastal structures such as seawalls and breakwaters and how these withstand attack by the sea? Do you want to help protect our coastal communities from the threat of flooding and sea level rise? Do you want to understand how to plan and construct a port? Our MEng graduates in civil and coastal engineering are trained as civil engineers with specialist knowledge in the realisation of projects that are essential to the functioning of coastal societies.

This accredited MEng provides the further learning component required for Chartered Engineer status. You will be supported and inspired by our enthusiastic academic staff. They will encourage you to enhance your professional experience through attendance at meetings and seminars, and the option of a paid year in industry with a civil engineering employer. You will also be offered a mentor from our network of Plymouth Civil Engineers to help guide you at the start of your professional career.
