Majoring in Sociology engages you in the scientific study of social behavior and social actions, that allows for a deeper understanding of the inner workings of social systems and structures. 

SPU graduates with degrees in Sociology have gone on to careers in law, social work and counseling, and social-policy fields. As an Illustration major, students are trained in a variety of digital and traditional mediums, with an emphasis on building strong practical skills that can be applied in diverse ways. 

After mastering the foundation level curriculum including painting and figure drawing, students may choose to create coursework that emphasizes Illustration for Publishing, Illustration for Entertainment Design, Illustration for Surface Design, Motion design and Illustrative Fine Art.

The Business Administration major in the School of Business, Government, and Economics at SPU allows you to develop essential business skills in a uniquely Christian environment that emphasizes values, ethics, and an understanding of business as a means to serve.

The Business Administration major provides you with a broad-based education in the fundamental theories, principles, and practices of modern business. The Master of Arts in Worship and the Arts is designed for students who seek a thorough grounding in the understanding, experience, and practice of theological disciplines (biblical, historical, and theological studies) while working with the fields of worship and the arts.

The Master of Arts in Theology degree program focuses on the classical theological disciplines of Scripture, church history, theology, and ethics. Our Worship and the Arts concentration is designed for individuals who work, or intend to work, in the fields of worship and the arts. This program gives those students a thorough grounding in the understanding, experience, and practice of theological disciplines (e.g., biblical, historical, and theological studies).
