The BACHELOR OF ARTS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE gives students a solid foundation in computer science. Fewer required courses in the major and more electives allow students to pursue minors and a second major in other departments. Students may pursue a general track or an individual track that has a sequence of two independent study courses specially designed in collaboration with a faculty member.

Gaming and Graphics

The Concentration in Gaming and Graphics is aimed at educating students in the design and development of video games and game engines.  This is a very exciting and growing industry. Video games have permeated all segments of population and industry from entertainment to educational. All courses in this concentration include a significant experiential component.

One of the nation's premier programs in this field. The publishing studies faculty is comprised of active professionals who teach classes in editing, book design, industry-standard publishing software systems, and marketing.

Dream of helping people live longer, better lives through engineering? The growing field of bioengineering lets you apply engineering concepts to challenges that directly affect our health and well-being.

Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering students concentrate in one of three areas: Biomechanics, Bioelectricity, or Pre-Med. You'll first build a foundation in universal engineering theories, mathematics, and the physical and life sciences, before moving on to courses in your area of interest:

Entrepreneurship majors learn how to think creatively and collaboratively, and develop the skills to launch a new enterprise, including crafting a business model that incorporates financing, marketing, human resources management, and other disciplines.

Data Science
The program prepares students for advanced careers in data engineering, quantitative research, machine learning, and data analytics. The curriculum includes the mathematical and algorithmic knowledge and skills used in different aspects of data science such as data science, data mining and visualization, statistical analysis and inference, and machine learning. The program provides a strong foundation in mathematical methods used in data science, including linear algebra, statistical inference, and optimization, as well as a wide range of applied topics in machine learning, data science, and data mining. Students will develop strong data analytics and computational skills.

Computer Science

The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE is the largest program in the Department of Computer Science and offers a deep foundation in the main areas of computing. There are a wide range of available concentrations to pursue in fields such as cybersecurity, gaming and animation, web and mobile applications, plus flexible choices of technical electives.

Chemistry
This degree prepares students for positions as high school educators, corporate chemistry reps (working with chemical testing and supplying companies), and as lab technicians. The program also serves as a foundation for a variety of graduate and doctoral programs.

The program is designed to provide students with a sound foundation in business principles, while also ensuring they have a strong understanding of the cybersecurity field. It provides the MBA students with an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of cybersecurity as well as the interconnections between enterprise businesses and security solutions. The core coursework of cybersecurity includes threat analysis, cyber defense, penetration testing, digital forensics, privacy, regulation and policy.

In the Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences program, you will develop the fundamental skills to help people who suffer from communication disorders, and prepare for advanced study to become a speech-language pathologist or audiologist who is licensed to work in settings such as schools, hospitals, rehab centers, and private practice.
