Data Science
The program prepares students for advanced careers in data engineering, quantitative research, machine learning, and data analytics. The curriculum includes the mathematical and algorithmic knowledge and skills used in different aspects of data science such as data science, data mining and visualization, statistical analysis and inference, and machine learning. The program provides a strong foundation in mathematical methods used in data science, including linear algebra, statistical inference, and optimization, as well as a wide range of applied topics in machine learning, data science, and data mining. Mathematics - Chemistry

The BS in Mathematics is appropriate for students planning graduate studies in mathematics or professional pursuits in the field of mathematics. The BS requires the completion of one of seven tracks: mathematics, actuarial science, applied mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering, or computer science.

Video, Television, and Film

The BS in Video, Television, and Film adds a film component to the video/television degree program, with courses such as advanced theatrical production, screenwriting, and cinematography; this degree also requires a media production practicum and coursework in science and computer science.

Health Administration

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree is available through an on-campus CAHME-accredited program as well as an online program. The different learning formats allow students from New York City, Long Island, and other regions to develop and strengthen their health services knowledge, communication skills, and leadership skills. MHA graduates from both programs are expected to be practice-ready professionals who contribute to their organizations and communities.

The program will provide a superior education to undergraduate students and prepare them for business analytics careers in business, government, healthcare, and other not-for-profit organizations. It also enhances the students' analytical thinking, skills, and practical experience in this field.

This program reflects the need within a broad-based engineering curriculum, for a diversity of offerings reflecting the diversity of careers in the engineering field today. Engineering today encompasses many new technologies, but the core educational requirements remain a thorough grounding in mathematics, physical sciences, engineering sciences and design. The Engineering Science degree then allows students to specialize in one of two options: biomedical or civil. Both options integrate design throughout the curriculum, beginning with the first year, and culminating in a year-long major senior-level design project.
