It is the engine that drives and shapes public policy, determining how individuals and families live and work, how business and industry operate – in short, how the world works. If you’re curious about people and human behavior, have an interest in history and political science, and enjoy the structure and reasoning of mathematical-style analysis, you’d do well majoring in economics.

The BA in Television Production and Studies focuses on the creative side of the television industry, from scriptwriting and editing to directing and producing. Biomedical Option

Bioengineering is designed to bridge the gap between the life sciences and physical sciences by applying engineering concepts, methods, and techniques to biology and medicine. An understanding of fundamental physiological processes using engineering methodology requires a broad background in basic engineering, sciences, and mathematics. Biomedical engineers may design instruments, devices, and software; bring together knowledge from many technical sources to develop new procedures; or conduct research needed to solve clinical problems. In industry, they may create products that require an in-depth understanding of living systems and technology. They frequently work in research and development or in quality assurance.

Computer Engineering

The BACHELOR of SCIENCE in COMPUTER ENGINEERING program is concerned with the design of hardware and software for computing devices and systems. Computer Engineering students take a rigorous set of courses in hardware and software related topics. Graduates with a degree in computer engineering typically secure jobs that involve the design of embedded systems, mobile devices, automotive sensing and control systems and biomedical devices to name a few. They are also capable of working in software roles such as software engineering and web and mobile development.

Concentration in Gaming and Graphics
The Concentration in Gaming and Graphics is aimed at educating students in the design and development of video games and game engines.  This is a very exciting and growing industry. Video games have permeated all segments of population and industry from entertainment to educational. All courses in this concentration include a significant experiential component.
