Mathematics - Chemistry

The BS in Mathematics is appropriate for students planning graduate studies in mathematics or professional pursuits in the field of mathematics. The major concentration enables students to establish a strong base of specialized knowledge in one of the areas of study represented in the Zarb School of Business. The concentration in Networking and Cybersecurity is aimed at educating students in the growing field of cybersecurity.  Security of data and computer systems is one of the most important topics in today's online world. Any application or system must have ways to prevent and protect from cyber attacks, to allow secure access and protection of data stored in distributed locations accessible online. Courses in this concentration offer a hands-on approach to learning networking, security and systems programming. All courses include a significant experiential component.

The Master of Science in Cybersecurity (Management and Policy Concentration) prepares students to manage and work with risk management and security policy development in order to protect networks and computer assets within an organization. This program will give students a deeper understanding of the technical aspects of cybersecurity; provide practical applications of risk management procedures in organizations; develop incident response plans for business continuity; design security structures for an organization and provide a legal framework for security policy.
