Biochemistry prepares students to pursue advanced degrees in forensic science, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacology, neuroscience, and molecular biology, as well as for medical, dental, and pharmacy schools, and physician assistant programs.

The program is designed to provide students with a sound foundation in business principles, while also ensuring they have a strong understanding of the cybersecurity field. It provides the MBA students with an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of cybersecurity as well as the interconnections between enterprise businesses and security solutions. The core coursework of cybersecurity includes threat analysis, cyber defense, penetration testing, digital forensics, privacy, regulation and policy.

The Bachelor of Science is appropriate for students planning graduate studies in biology and professional pursuits in the fields of biology, medicine or higher education. The BS has an options requirement – areas of specialized learning. Choose from Cell and Molecular Biology; Ecology and Evolution; Marine Biology; Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental and Pre-Veterinary Studies; and Secondary Education.

The Master of Arts (MA) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Hofstra University prepares you for career advancement across a number of fields dealing with workplace productivity and behaviors, including human resources, training, management, consulting, coaching, and organization development. Research design, statistics, and psychology provide the foundation for advanced study in selection training, performance appraisal, worker motivation, and organization development. This program pairs you with dedicated faculty who help you succeed in your first year at Hofstra University.

Fine Arts

This degree is for students who may be interested in a double major in areas such as education, marketing, computer science, or film. Students have the option of a general fine arts degree, or a specialization in design, painting, or sculpture-industrial design.

If you are interested in the political process, policy, and public service, the major in public policy and public service combines all of those areas in one degree. You will develop a deep understanding of modern policy challenges, as well as the leadership skills to meet them.

Do you see yourself designing roads and bridges, constructing skyscrapers and transportation hubs, or developing dams and complex water treatment projects? A degree in civil engineering will let you solve real-world problems that improve the lives of others.

International Business

The major concentration enables students to establish a strong base of specialized knowledge in one of the areas of study represented in the Zarb School of Business. This complements the skills in the various functional areas of business, as well as the professional leadership and management orientation.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next semester of graduate study at Hofstra University. Public Health

Join the next generation of innovative leaders in health with the Public Health graduate programs at Hofstra University. Build advanced expertise in assessment and research, program planning, evaluation, and policy development and get experience doing fieldwork with community organizations addressing pressing public health issues at the local, regional, and national level. Complete the Master of Public Health (MPH) full-time in as little as 13 months. We also offer an Advanced Certificate in Foundations in Public Health. Scholarships are available for qualified candidates.

This is a more intensive program, with more required coursework in fine arts and art history than the BA degree. In addition, students must select a specialization from one of the following areas:
