Manufacturing Engineering
The MfgE program lays the foundation for being a successful engineer. Along with an introductory industrial and manufacturing engineering course, you'll take courses in basic engineering science, math and statistics, chemistry and physics, and oral and written communication. The junior & senior year of your OSU MfgE education focuses on strengthening and extending your discipline-specific knowledge and experience. Core coursework in MfgE includes manufacturing materials and processes, production engineering, production planning and control, computer aided design and manufacturing, design of mechanical devises and work systems, lean manufacturing systems engineering, thermal–fluid sciences, design on experiments, simulation, and statistical quality control.

Zoology
Zoology is an interdisciplinary biological sciences degree that focuses on all aspects of the biology of animals – from genes to ecosystems. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
The BS degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology provides a degree path centered on the molecular basis of living systems with training in molecular genetics, biochemistry, and cell biology, as well as in rapidly developing areas such as bioinformatics. Completion of an option is required to earn a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Majors must select an option either in Advanced Molecular Biology, Computational Molecular Biology, or Pre-medicine. The first two options are designed for students interested in careers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries or graduate work in the molecular life sciences, with the second especially well-suited for students interested in computational aspects of molecular biology. The third option is ideal for students interested in careers in medicine and related health professions.

Computer Science
Computer science is the study of algorithms and problem solving. These problems apply to every scientific, engineering, and mathematical field, making computer scientists relevant in every professional field today. A computer science degree at Oregon State can give you the skills to program a custom low level sensor board all the way up to coordinating cloud datacenters full of servers.

Graduate students in the animal sciences program work on advancing scientific knowledge and fundamental understanding of areas such as reproductive biology and nutritional metabolism. Students develop new processes and technologies for profitable and environmentally-friendly animal production and management.

The discovery and dissemination of principles of animal behavior through the study of both livestock and companion animals are also fundamental activities in this program.

Graduate work leading to degrees may involve research on animal genetics, reproductive physiology, embryo physiology, animal nutrition, growth and development, endocrinology, nutritional biochemistry, animal behavior, livestock management, and dairy production.

Business Administration
The Oregon State MBA offers a variety of degree programs and certificates to meet the needs of our students, and we offer programs as part-time and full-time in Corvallis, as well as programs in Portland.

Our students have a variety of academic backgrounds; students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business or a business minor will complete coursework that provides a solid foundation of business knowledge. Oregon State MBA programs are 60 credit-hours in length (45 credit-hours for students who qualify for the accelerated program) and include both core and track-specific coursework. Students who have earned an undergraduate business degree or business minor from an accredited institution within the past 10 years may be eligible to participate in our 45 credit-hour accelerated program.

Natural Resources
Oregon State University's natural resources undergraduate degree program will provide you technical skills and scientific knowledge that spans various natural resources and social science disciplines. As a natural resources major, you will study the science and management of resources such as fish and wildlife, forests, range and water, as well as the development of sustainable environmental policies and human dimensions of natural resources.
