International Year One in General (3-Term Pathway) Leading to Bachelor of Science in Psychology

The Master of Accountancy is a one-year master’s program for students with an undergraduate degree in accounting. It allows accounting students to receive an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree during their five years of university study required to become a CPA.

As an integrated program, the MAC is designed to allow students the opportunity to plan early enough in their accounting education program to enable them to receive both an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree. The MAC is also designed to accommodate postbaccalaureate students wishing to prepare for accounting careers.

Our Master's International Direct pairs a Direct Entry I-20 with customized support during the first term of students' graduate studies in MS Business. Students will benefit from increased support throughout the predeparture and academic journey as they study alongside domestic students.

Our Master of Science in Business (MSB) will give you focused exploration into a specific business discipline. It is an opportunity for you to build a strong foundation of business acumen and leadership qualities while giving you the tools to be an expert in the field.

International Year One program in Science will prepare you to enter your next term of a bachelor’s degree program at Oregon State University. Upon successful completion of International Year One and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next term of undergraduate study at Oregon State University. This transition from an INTO OSU program to a university program is called progression.

Bioresource Research
BioResource Research (BRR) is an interdisciplinary biosciences major centered around student research. Students take biosciences core courses, complete an option (bioscience/agriculture/natural resource specialization) and do a research project of their choice with a faculty mentor.

The Biochemistry and Biophysics graduate program in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics grants primarily PhD degrees, but also offers thesis and nonthesis master's degrees. We offer a broad range of research topics through the faculty within the department, those associated with the Linus Pauling Institute, and affiliate faculty from other departments throughout Oregon State University.

Research interests of the faculty in the graduate program include cancer biology, aging, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease), heart and spinal cord development and disease, mouse transgenics, atherosclerosis, protein and nucleic acid structure and function, DNA modification and epigenetics, cell signaling, oxidative stress, micronutrients, bioinformatics, and biosensors.

Are you a creative-thinker who can help an organization be a leader in design and innovation? Are you interested in working with multi-disciplinary teams on tackling creative challenges? Our design and innovation management major will help you build the skills you need for a management role in design-related fields across many areas of industry, including large and small companies.

Our design and innovation management degree focuses on the intersection of design and business, bringing together analytic and creative problem-solving skills. You'll focus on how design can be integrated into an organization from a management and strategic perspective and learn the value that design and innovation can bring to an organization.

You'll learn to integrate and focus on the role of design in the creation and management of strategic, sustainable business advantages and customer solutions.

Your career skills are rounded out with fundamentals such as project management, principles of marketing, design thinking and process innovation, retail management, ethics and corporate social responsibility as well as the fundamentals of visual arts and art history.

For students earning their first or second (post baccalaureate) Bachelor's degree the BS in Fisheries and Wildlife (FW) Sciences offers first-rate training in processes and strategies for the management and conservation of fish, wildlife, and marine species and their habitats.  Students in our degree program learn to think critically and evaluate problems using basic and applied science and fundamental ecological principles, and through consideration of social influences on conservation.

The marketing curriculum provides students with technical marketing skills and leadership training. Opportunities exist for marketing graduates in a wide variety of organizations, including manufacturing firms, service firms, retailers, wholesalers, advertising agencies, the communications media and government agencies. Career options include sales, advertising, retailing, brand management, logistics management, market research, purchasing management and more.

International Year One General will prepare you to enter the second year of one of OSU's many undergraduate degree programs. Upon successful completion of International Year One and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next term of undergraduate study at Oregon State University. Students can earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. The undergraduate curriculum is founded on a sound background in basic sciences (chemistry, physics, biology) and mathematics (calculus, differential equations), and strengthened with engineering science fundamentals (engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer). Upper division coursework in environmental engineering includes analysis and design of water and wastewater treatment systems, hazardous substance management and regulations, air pollution control technologies, and fate and transport of chemicals in the environment. All students participate in a capstone-design experience meant to foster interaction and communication between different engineering disciplines while applying environmental engineering principles to a real-world problem.
