An INTO OSU Graduate Pathway program in Business Administration will prepare you to enter your next term of a master’s degree program at Oregon State University. Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next term of graduate study at Oregon State University. Business Administration
The Oregon State MBA offers a variety of degree programs and certificates to meet the needs of our students, and we offer programs as part-time and full-time in Corvallis, as well as programs in Portland.

Our students have a variety of academic backgrounds; students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business or a business minor will complete coursework that provides a solid foundation of business knowledge. Oregon State MBA programs are 60 credit-hours in length (45 credit-hours for students who qualify for the accelerated program) and include both core and track-specific coursework. Students who have earned an undergraduate business degree or business minor from an accredited institution within the past 10 years may be eligible to participate in our 45 credit-hour accelerated program.

Music
At OSU Music, you'll find an exciting and creative community that challenges students to develop the skills to become successful musicians and professional educators. Our talented faculty are dedicated to high artistry and committed to excellence. Students test their skills and display their talents in a friendly and supportive environment. Entering students should have background in performance and be able to read music. Rudimentary keyboard skills and some knowledge of basic theory are useful. Upon completing the music program, you will earn either a B.A. or a B.S. in music.

Civil Engineering
Civil engineering is the design, construction, and maintenance of public works, including roads, bridges, harbors, etc. At Oregon State University our programs in civil engineering prepare students to become working professional civil engineering and academic researchers who study civil engineering problems. Our civil engineering undergraduate program offers a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree where students receive general instruction in all disciplines, with the option for additional elective courses in desired areas.

Our goal is to help stimulate intellectual and aesthetic inquiry, develop our students' creative and technical skills, and graduate engaged, culturally aware citizens. Students here have the opportunity to choose from several options: painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and art history.

Biological Data SciencesA degree in BDS provides a wealth of career and graduate school opportunities. Advances, such as next generation sequencing, drones, satellite imagery, and crowd sourcing, have transformed the life sciences by enabling data collection to occur at speeds and scales previously unimaginable. This paradigm shift in how researchers answer biological questions has resulted in an ever-increasing need for scientists with appropriate expertise in both biological and quantitative thinking.

Finance
The goal of the finance program at OSU is to prepare students for careers in institutional finance, which includes careers in banking, brokerage, insurance and other fields. Within the lending area, finance majors can specialize in installment credit lending to consumers of durable goods, mortgage lending to home builders and buyers, or commercial lending to help finance the growth of businesses. Men and women entering the securities industry find careers as stock and bond brokers, security analysts or portfolio managers. Individuals choosing the area of insurance typically enter company operations through either claims or underwriting positions.

Tourism, Recreation & Adventure Leadership
The tourism and outdoor recreation industries are among the largest in the world and continue to grow in Oregon and throughout the nation. As a TRAL graduate, you will be a leader, educator and entrepreneur in our most important natural spaces. You will be on the cutting edge of this exciting, ever-changing industry and go on to educate others about the natural world, lead life-changing adventure opportunities, create brand new businesses based on the idea of sharing the outdoors with others and more.

The business administration degree provides students with a broad overview of business; basic skills in accounting and quantitative methods; an understanding of the legal and social environment of business; a background in management and organizational behavior, marketing, finance, and operations management; an understanding of the entrepreneurial process; and the opportunity to integrate course work and further develop decision-making skills through the analysis of business cases.

Physics
The Department of Physics at Oregon State University offers degree programs leading to the Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physics within the College of Science. Several options to the Physics B.S. degree are available, including Applied Physics, Biological Physics, Chemical Physics, Computational Physics, Geophysics, Mathematical Physics, Optical Physics, and Physics Education.  We also offer a minor in Physics.

Economics

• The department offers four different paths in the major and a minor:
• General Economics Option - Organizations want employees who can think, communicate orally, write, and solve problems, and who are comfortable with quantitative analysis.
• Managerial Economics Option - The Managerial Economics Option is an interdisciplinary program which allows students to use business classes toward the requirements of the economics degree.
• Law, Economics and Policy Option - The Law, Economics and Policy Option is an interdisciplinary program drawing from political science and philosophy courses as well as economics.
• Mathematical Economics Option - As the economics profession becomes increasingly mathematical, economics majors who plan to go to graduate school need a strong math background.
