Theatre
Suffolk's Theatre Department is student-centered. We'll help you shine, whether you choose to act; write, direct, and design your own original plays; master stage or arts management; intern with leading theatre companies in Boston and abroad; and so much more. Interior design
Interior designers use their talents and expertise to transform and enhance society. As an interior design student at Suffolk University, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to influence the way people live, work, play, grow, move, and bond. Innovation and creative problem solving, protection of natural resources, attention to building codes and laws, and understanding human behavior will all play a role in your work.

As a Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate in interior design, you'll develop a comprehensive knowledge of design theory, history, and communication and design skills. Your studies will explore sustainable and socially conscious design, lighting, and furniture design, as well as code adherence and professional practices. You’ll also develop fluency in the two- and three-dimensional design software and computer hardware contemporary designers use.

Studying interior design here is truly immersive. You'll find endless inspiration in Boston's interior landscapes. Our city is filled with Victorian brownstones, industrial lofts, and every style in between—all with their own distinctive look inside. Along with these inspiring spaces, Boston is home to many prestigious interior design and architectural firms. Boston's showrooms and galleries also love working with Suffolk interns.

Master of Business Administration

Suffolk’s Master’s in Applied Politics (MAAP) program focuses on the American political system, electoral and advocacy campaigns, and public policy. We provide a foundation of knowledge in how to access and influence the political process.

You will build practical skills that are vital to success for a political or policy professional. Our location, at the nexus of federal, state, and local government, combined with our extensive alumni network, enables you to broaden your professional connections, expand your network and take the next step to advance your career.

Media and film are constantly evolving. You'll need to adapt if you want to create content in these industries. Suffolk's media and film major encourages critical thinking and internships, so you'll graduate ready to work in the field or take your studies to the next level in grad school.

Media and film are dynamic concepts that are constantly evolving; therefore, students need to prepare themselves to be adaptable creators in the industries. To that end, the major guides students through considerations of both practical and critical nature to ensure that students learn how the two areas exist with mutual benefit to one another. Upon graduation, students are prepared for both practical work in the industry and graduate studies in film or media theory or a specialized production area.

Internships are highly encouraged, and students regularly intern at production and post-production houses in the city and Boston metro area, as well as TV stations, such as PBS. Many also intern on movie sets, as Hollywood productions regularly shoot in the city.

Radiation Science
The radiation science major emphasizes laboratory and research training rather than clinical training, making it ideal preparation for medical research careers and graduate study. By integrating the study of biology, radiation, physics, chemistry, and mathematics, our well-rounded program prepares you for a career in healthcare or any of the sciences. Majors in the program have the opportunity to complete an internship at a regional healthcare facility, including the possibility of interning at a top medical center, even though clinical training isn't a requirement of this program.
