The Department of Chemistry offers Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science, and Non-thesis Master of Arts degrees. The Chemistry graduate faculty is comprised of full-time senior faculty members, all holding the Ph.D. degree. The combination of a large and strong faculty with a wide variety of courses provides students with programs of study that can be tailored to fit individual needs, while maintaining a sound background in all general aspects of Chemistry. The excellent research facilities and low student-faculty ratio combine to afford unique opportunities for advanced study in Chemistry.

The Electrical Engineering major offers study in all areas fundamental to the analysis, design, and development of electrical devices and systems. ?The areas covered by the major include foundational topics such as circuits and electrical power, to applications such as Internet of Things, Smart Grid, Security,  and Data Analytics. The major offers curriculum tracks that include: Bioelectrical Systems, Communication Systems, Energy, Power and Sustainability, Mechatronics, Robotics and Embedded Systems, Micro and Nano-scale Systems and Wireless Systems. Music-M.M.

They are featured on many professional recordings and appear in prestigious concert venues around the world. Their compositions are premiered globally. Their scholarship is published in the leading research journals, books, and monographs in their disciplines. The School of Music also invites guest composers, conductors, and performing musicians to enhance its performances and to provide master classes, symposia, and clinics for students and the public. Many USF music alumni are currently performers in a variety of concert settings and successful teachers in public schools, colleges, and universities around the country in a variety of concert settings. The School of Music at USF offers the student the opportunity to study with distinguished faculty and to be in the company of other superior music students for an exciting and exacting period of study.

The weekend Executive M.B.A. is a lock-step, 21-month, AACSB accredited program designed to meet the unique needs of both mid-career managers who have demonstrated the potential to reach senior management positions, and senior managers who desire to significantly increase their personal and organizational effectiveness. The major provides an opportunity to broaden and enrich management skills, to extend knowledge of modern business techniques, and to further develop understanding of the social, political, and economic forces that shape the business environment and influence decision making. Classes are scheduled all day on two Saturdays and one Friday a month for four semesters. The weekend format allows participants to continue carrying their careers while they master a range of managerial skills.

Entrepreneurship
A major in Entrepreneurship is intended for those students interested in the possibility of self-venturing or who may someday work in an entrepreneurial firm. Upon completion of this major, students will be especially prepared to leverage their knowledge to work in management positions within high growth, innovative firms or to take their own idea to market. This major utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to education thus providing a well-rounded knowledge of business.

Students will learn the creative nature of idea/opportunity identification and evaluation, the unique skills necessary to build an entrepreneurial firm, and the ability to interact with local community resources and mentors.

The B.S. in Supply Chain Management equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers in the supply chain industry. Supply chain management is a business function that ensures the efficient and effective management of the flow of goods, services and finances among firms around the world to transform raw materials into finished products along with management reverse flows (e.g., defective or damaged products, product returns, end-of-life disposal) in a sustainable manner. Graduates from this program enter the workforce in supply chain positions across multiple types of companies including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and retailing. Students gain field-based experience through a required internship and a project in the capstone course.

Geology
The Bachelor of Arts program is designed primarily for the liberal arts student who has an interest in careers in Geoscience education or environmental policy and law. A student who elects the B.A. program and decides to pursue the geology profession or attend graduate school will need at least field geology in his/her program.

Computer Science
The Computer Science program focuses on the design, development, and application of software systems. Additional course work in algorithms, discrete structures, object oriented design, data structures, operating systems, digital logic design, computer architecture, and a wide range of advanced electives extend and supplement the core.
