Our Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is designed to train you to acquire strong analytical and administrative skills, and gain the management expertise you will need to succeed in the most rewarding and demanding areas of the national economy: government, healthcare, and nonprofit administration. Healthcare Management
The Healthcare Management track is ideal for individuals occupying administrative positions in the healthcare industry, who are interested in advancing into leadership positions in organizations that provide public health services as well as in regulatory agencies in the healthcare field. Our Healthcare Management track graduates are employed with state and local health agencies, and non-profit/for-profit healthcare organizations such as hospitals in the NYC metro area including NYC metro area Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, Lenox Hill, Montefiore etc.

A bachelor of arts in women’s and gender studies gives you the critical thinking skills and experiences to identify oppressive systems and to create forms of social justice. Take a unique constellation of classes that use categories of analysis, including gender, race, ability, sexuality, class, among others, to build a specialized portfolio of experiential learning in and with communities and independent research and policy projects. • We offer a unique opportunity to combine classroom theory with practical experience by connecting you with the ability to conduct research alongside faculty, in some cases as early as sophomore year.
• You can expect to conduct work on on-going research projects including biochemical studies of parasitic diseases with a view to developing new antimicrobial agents to combat disease by opportunistic infections of AIDS patients, sexually transmitted diseases and East African sleeping sickness.
