Our Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is designed to train you to acquire strong analytical and administrative skills, and gain the management expertise you will need to succeed in the most rewarding and demanding areas of the national economy: government, healthcare, and nonprofit administration. The program’s mission is to prepare our students to become value-driven public service leaders, managers, and analysts by offering you the knowledge of roles, values, skills, and practices that will help you become competent global professionals capable of ethical, innovative, and creative leadership in public service, government, health care, and nonprofit organizations. The interdisciplinary curriculum enables you to occupy public service management and analyst positions across sectoral boundaries, as the program takes into account career and industry sector flexibility.

Nonprofit Management
The Nonprofit Management track is geared toward public managers in the nonprofit sector with previous management experience or with advanced professional degrees. Students pursuing this MPA track can focus on three areas: managerial skills enhancement (for those in or preparing for a career as a manager or administrator of a non-profit organization); leadership development (designed for those interested in planning for and implementing social change); and social entrepreneurship (ideal for those in the private sector who have a particular interest in the social impact of for-profit business activities). Our Nonprofit Management track graduates are employed with varied sized-organizations in the areas of education, parks and recreation, community services, healthcare, immigration, etc.

BS Mathematics
This specialized program will help prepare you for employment in quantitative or technical fields such as actuarial science, computer science, finance, operations research, statistics, and science, as well as graduate study. You will be encouraged to choose a concentration or minor designed to support your professional aspirations. If you want to pursue a graduate degree, mathematics graduates are exceptional candidates for Pace’s MS in Customer Intelligence and Analytics in the current and increasing age of “Big Data.”

Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.

BS Early Childhood Education
From birth to second grade, early life experiences have a lasting impact on later success. Our bachelor’s of science in early childhood education was created to support the development of all young children, including those who are culturally, linguistically, and ability diverse, with a focus on using developmentally effective approaches to build a meaningful curriculum for our youngest learners. BA Philosophy and Religious Studies
Be well-equipped to solve some of the world’s increasingly complex problems and moral questions. In the BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies, you will study a broad survey of major figures and ideas in philosophy as well as in the major world religions, with in-depth studies of those figures and ideas that you find particularly attractive. You will have the opportunity to conduct independent laboratory research in collaboration with highly respected faculty members, often at a level typically reserved for graduate students, utilizing scientific resources one would expect to find at a large research institution.
