BS Early Childhood and Childhood Education
Experiences early in life have a lasting impact on later learning, well-being, and success. This dual program was created to support the development of all young children from birth through sixth grade, including those who are culturally, linguistically, and ability diverse. The Early Childhood/Childhood Education program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in both early childhood and childhood education.

With a bachelor’s of arts in mathematics, complemented by a broad-based liberal arts and science education, you will develop critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical and in-demand quantitative skills. If you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree, mathematics graduates are exceptional candidates for Pace’s MS in Customer Intelligence and Analytics in the current and increasing age of “Big Data.”

BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.
