BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.

BA Political Science

Our nutrition and dietetics program was built with tomorrow’s nutritional challenges in mind—resolving the world’s rising rates of overweight and obesity, reviving sustainability and locally-sourced food, and improving access to healthful, affordable food for all people. The Government track is ideal for pre-service and in-service professionals interested in pursuing a public service career in the local, state, and federal government. This track is also suitable for individuals who are interested in pursuing political careers. Our Government Management track graduates are employed as municipal and assistant municipal managers, chiefs of staff, school district business leaders, elected officials, budget analysts, and directors, as well as executive and program directors and coordinators in various public sector agencies.
