Marist’s Biology program, offering degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Biology, with concentrations in Human Biology or the Biological Sciences, is designed to help you take your passion and turn it into a successful, meaningful future. Marist’s MS in Computer Science - Software Development provides you with the hands-on resources and advanced technology to excel in the design, development, and implementation of software systems. Designed to meet the needs of computer professionals without interrupting your current career path, you’ll earn a state-of-the-art education during evening courses in either a part-time or full-time schedule. A STEM degree, the MSCS program utilizes exclusive tech partnerships with industry leaders such as IBM, and innovative on-ground technology, so you can graduate with the extensive software development

Religion is both the source and expression for much of humanity's self-understanding. Fundamental questions about existence, identity, and values are addressed through religious "worlds of meaning." At various times in recent history, religion has been disparaged as oppressive (Marx), criticized as an illusion (Freud), or dismissed as irrelevant (the post-Holocaust "God is Dead" movement). Nonetheless, religious sources and expression continue to provide the central texts, symbols, and paths of transformation for individuals and societies throughout the world.

The Public Relations concentration of the Communication major is geared toward our students who are interested in careers in Public Relations and related fields, resulting in career paths from Social Media Specialists to Corporate Communication Directors. Our program combines essential learnings that introduce and hone skills in courses like Campaign Management, Public Relations Writing Tools, Advanced Strategic Storytelling, Research & Analytics, among others. By studying both the principles and practice of the industry, you’ll have a competitive edge when you enter the field after graduation.

The B.A. in Italian provides the foundational skills for spoken and written proficiency as well as essential knowledge of Italian culture through the study of a broad range of topics such as Italian literature,  history, and contemporary ideas. The minor provides students with a solid base for the many professions linked with international endeavors and helps to prepare students to work in Italian and Italian American communities and institutions here and abroad.
