Learn how to help patients regain their physical, social, and emotional strength. Discover how science and health converge to advance healthcare, and gain the skills to assist people with impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions due to physical injury, illness, psychosocial dysfunction, developmental or learning disabilities, socioeconomic status, cultural differences, or the aging process.

In our close-knit program, you’ll participate in faculty-led research initiatives across academic disciplines, including engineering, computer science, and sports medicine, and in areas such as hand therapy, pediatrics, concussion therapy, physical rehabilitation, and sports and fitness. You’ll explore how virtual reality, mobile technology, and gaming applications can expand the impact of health and wellness and advance the healthcare field.

Focused on culturally competent school counseling and social justice, the School Counseling, M.S. helps you become a compassionate, effective advocate for the academic, social, and emotional success of pre-K–12 students.

You’ll gain a broad foundation on prevalent topics in school counseling today, including leadership, group counseling, working with special needs students, college counseling, and school violence prevention. You’ll also acquire the critical experience you need through a practicum and internships under the mentorship of a tenured school counselor in a pre-K–12 school setting.

We also offer a Bilingual Extension, which can be completed simultaneously with your school counseling degree. The extension includes a minimum of six additional credits, as well as bilingual practicum experience to prepare you to work specifically with bilingual/ELL students and their families. NYSED certification will require documented proficiency in the target language by independently passing the New York State Bilingual Assessment (BEA).

What You’ll Learn

The Engineering Management, B.S. is an interdisciplinary program focusing on the foundations of financial management, project management, operations management, quality control, entrepreneurship, and data-driven management and analysis.

The curriculum is complemented by a core liberal arts curriculum that includes critical thinking, communications, and other skills needed to thrive in today’s global marketplace.

Outside of the classroom, you’ll gain critical experience through our Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center, engineering clubs (ASME, SAE, NSBE), and undergraduate research opportunities alongside faculty members as part of our Undergraduate Research & Entrepreneurial Program (UREP).

What You’ll Learn

• Help people from a range of backgrounds and experiences live better lives through counseling, advocacy, and mediation with the Behavioral Sciences-Sociology / Social Work, B.S. You’ll study different social systems—family units, gangs, religious cults, medical systems, and more—and how they’re impacted by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, and social class.
• You’ll gain critical experience with field placement opportunities, as well as work side by side with full-time faculty on original research, presenting at regional and national conferences, as well as New York Tech’s Symposium of University Research and Creative Expression (SOURCE).
• Courses are offered in a range of formats, from small groups in traditional classrooms, through distance learning across campuses and classrooms, and online.

In the AACSB-accredited Business Administration, B.S. with a Finance concentration, you’ll learn to integrate best-practice strategies and principles while launching your career in finance.

• In our Chemistry, B.S. program, you’ll participate in a hands-on curriculum utilizing technology and modern approaches to solve chemical problems.
