The US is experiencing an acute shortage of qualified cybersecurity professionals. Well-trained professionals who can wield mathematical models to protect sensitive data are in growing demand. Our MA program combines the study of applied mathematics, data science, and information technology. Our DC location allows students to gain valuable job experience while earning graduate credit.

Our bachelor’s degree program draws principally from the natural sciences, providing students with a rigorous curriculum and training in both field and laboratory techniques. The American Studies program at American University examines American institutions, cultures, and society, while also inviting students to engage in community research and service in Washington DC and the metropolitan area.

American Studies at American University is interdisciplinary. That means our program gives students the freedom to take core classes in American Studies as well as electives in history, literature, cultural studies, politics, and the social sciences.

The Master’s in Health Promotion Management program features:

• Five areas of specialization: Corporate Health, Health Communication, Health Policy, Global Health, or Nutrition Education.
