The Human Resource Management major (designated as a pre-major) is a comprehensive study of the way people work in a business. The program's goal is to train students to be competent human resource specialists who work strategically with organizations to recruit the right talent, motivate them with compensation and make them even more valuable through training and development. Apparel Design and Product Development
The Apparel Design & Product Development curriculum develops students into professionals that will be successful in both the domestic and international marketplace. Fashion design is the development of apparel, textile and consumer products that meet the needs of specific consumer markets. Students develop an understanding of these needs through the study of consumer behavior, demographics and psychographics. Apparel Design courses are both creative and high technical. Finance
The Finance major is the study of the decision-making process involved in managing and acquiring assets to create a profit. It is a pre-major.  The major offers two focuses, Corporate Finance and Investments. Corporate Finance is the study of research and acquisition of assets for companies. The study of Investments includes the valuing of financial securities and corporate and personal portfolio management. Available courses include:

The Business Fellows program provides a unique opportunity to blend a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with other areas of study. The flexibility of the degree plan gives students the opportunity to pick up another major within the business school, a minor or major in a different school of study, or study abroad. Anthropology
As a discipline, anthropology studies human diversity across time and space, attempting to understand the human past, present, and future using tools and techniques from various sub-fields like biological anthropology, archaeology, and sociocultural anthropology. It utilizes a comparative approach between people/populations and among different species to understand the forces that have shaped their ways of life.

We aim to educate students to address real-world problems through a combination of classroom learning, seminars and hands-on field and laboratory research opportunities. This can include, for example, examining fossil casts or modern human bones, studying at the zoo or in villages in developing countries, and digging for artifacts in the fields or just facts in the library.Our faculty pursues research in disease diagnostics and other biomarkers, Global and One Health, ecological anthropology, forensic anthropology, fossil excavation, modern Mayan cultures, DNA analyses, GIS, and both historic and prehistoric archaeology. Research sites include Central and Latin America, the Caribbean, West, East, and South Africa, near Eastern Mediterranean, and Texas. All of these projects offer excellent opportunities for students to participate in primary research working alongside their professors.

The Management major helps students enhance communication and problem solving skills.  It is a pre-major.  The major teaches the activities and functions of a business. It also builds leaders adept in planning, organizing, staffing and leading an organization.  Available courses include:

The music major is for serious musicians who are resolute about pursuing new frontiers and not afraid to challenge musical conventions.
