Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Electrical and Computer Engineering major (designated as a pre-major) is a nationally-recognized program designed for students interested in math and science and the advancement of technology. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) has accredited the Baylor program, which gives ECE students the opportunity to analyze, design and build a variety of devices enabling an understanding of the principles behind modern technologies and prepare them to play a role in shaping the future. Psychology is the study of mental processes and behavior. As psychology majors (designated as a pre-major), students learn about many diverse concepts including perception, cognition, emotion and personality. Other concepts include behavior, interpersonal relationships and the individual and collective unconscious. Coursework involves the application of learned concepts to spheres of human activity. The Psychology major is available either as a Bachelor of Arts degree or as a Bachelor of Science degree. The Bachelor of Arts degree plan emphasizes the study of humanities in Psychology, while the Bachelor of Science degree plan has a greater emphasis in science and mathematics.

The Risk Management and Insurance major (designated as a pre-major) focuses on identifying financial and economic characteristics of risks to which firms and individuals are exposed and developing effective strategies for managing such risks. Available courses include:

Apparel Design and Product Development
The Apparel Design & Product Development curriculum develops students into professionals that will be successful in both the domestic and international marketplace. Fashion design is the development of apparel, textile and consumer products that meet the needs of specific consumer markets. Students develop an understanding of these needs through the study of consumer behavior, demographics and psychographics. Apparel Design courses are both creative and high technical. Education - Secondary Life Science
The Secondary Education program prepares students to work in grades 7-12. Graduates of the Secondary Education program earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in one subject area (listed below). Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.

The Theatre Design and Technology major is ideal for students who wish to pursue careers in set design, costume design, lighting design, or technical design. Students work with the Theatre Arts production crews and can select a focus within the design categories, which can help them build their portfolio throughout their time at Baylor. Earth Science
The B.A. degree in Earth Science covers a broad spectrum of topics and is designed to give the Earth science major an understanding of the Earth's materials and processes. Topical areas in the Earth science curriculum encompass astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, as well as geology. Available courses include:

The Earth Science major can be combined with a major in Environmental Studies for students interested in the impact humanity has on the natural environment. Graduates can expect to find career opportunities in a number of areas, including oil or energy, environmental consulting, state water control, the Environmental Protection Agency and many others.

The Health, Kinesiology, and Leisure Studies major is for students preparing for the general career areas of health, fitness, recreation and sports, so it is well suited students unsure of which area they are most interested in pursuing. The program's popular feature is that general electives may also meet entrance requirements for professional schools. This is especially helpful in those instances where Baylor University does not have a pre-professional degree program in the field a student is interested in.  Course available include:

Studio Art
Today’s ever expanding visual world is in increasing need of educated, visually trained professionals, whether as designers, teachers, artists, museum professionals, consultants, or for the many other professions that require creativity, visual acuity, and problem solving skills.

To meet these increasing needs the Baylor University Department of Art offers students both a BA or BFA (the professional undergraduate degree) in Studio Art with separate concentrations in seven area:
