Education - Spanish All Level
The All-Level Spanish Education program prepares students to teach Spanish in grades K through 12. Graduates of the All-Level Spanish Education program earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in Spanish Education. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language. Students of All-Level Spanish Education do not have to be fluent in Spanish prior to starting the major.

Communication Sciences and Disorders
Communication Sciences and Disorders is a major that trains students in the processes of communication and speaking. This includes education in identifying and treating various disorders of communication and speech. In this field, professionals seek to diagnose and treat a variety of disorders, improving communication while also improving quality of life. Baylor's major in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) emphasizes speech-language pathology and offers comprehensive education in the fundamental principles of the field. International Studies is an interdisciplinary major administered by the Department of Political Science. Students learn about the social, political and economic issues confronting the international environment as well as regions of the world. The major includes extensive studies in a language of the student's choosing. Available courses include:

The Recreation and Leisure Services major is for students who want to work in recreation. The RLS curriculum offers the business and programming classes needed for all leisure service careers, and provides the foundation for almost any recreation field. Available courses include:

The Apparel Merchandising program focuses on developing professional skills, such as communication, analytical thinking, teamwork and ethical behavior. Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation program is designated as a pre-major. The program develops students' knowledge of the entrepreneurial process.  It also develops the technical tools and techniques required in various ventures. Several publications have recognized the strengths of the program with awards and recognitions.  These publications include U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine. Students may also pursue a Social Entrepreneurship Track.  Available courses include:

The program pairs with companies to provide summer and semester internships. The Hankamer School of Business offers student exchange and study abroad programs.  The program offers a few study abroad opportunities unique to the program.

Geology is the science that deals with the Earth's physical structure and substance, its history and the processes that act on it. The Geology major focuses on a wide variety of topics that include materials of the Earth (minerals and rocks) and processes that affect them, as well as the evolution of life and its relationship to Earth materials and processes. These processes can include the formation of rocks, mountains and volcanoes, wind and water.Geologists utilize chemistry, biology and physics to investigate environmental issues, hydrocarbon accumulations, natural hazards, water quality and availability, ores and valuable minerals and natural disasters. Available courses include:

Science Research Fellows is a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary major (BS) that provides students with an academic foundation for successful research careers in:

This flexible major prepares students to immerse themselves in research on their favorite science field early on in their studies while giving them the freedom to explore other fields of study. They receive individualized mentorship and guidance to make their career goals a reality.Fellows students are given guaranteed research opportunities throughout their academic career at Baylor.

The Interior Design program prepares students for thriving careers across the varied sectors that define the architecture and design professions.For more than forty years, Baylor's program has developed critical thinkers and problem solvers who apply design solutions to address challenges of individuals and communities. The program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). Students learn to apply the design process and technical skills to creatively solve design problems. The Interior Design program is a studio-based major. A sampling of required courses include:

Interior Design students must complete an internship with a qualified interior designer or architect for course credit. Our students have interned around the globe in a wide variety of design specialties ranging from Residential to Corporate to Historic Preservation.

The Business Fellows program provides a unique opportunity to blend a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with other areas of study. The flexibility of the degree plan gives students the opportunity to pick up another major within the business school, a minor or major in a different school of study, or study abroad. Course available include:

• Managerial Accounting
• Management Information Systems

Business Fellows students build their own major, and along with it, their own career path. Each student is assigned a faculty adviser who helps the student map out their post-graduation goals and plans, whether it's a specific career or graduate school.
