The finance concentration enables the student to build upon the solid foundation from the course work in the MBA program and provides students with greater exposure to economic and financial business practices. The finance courses provide an opportunity for students to learn about local, national and international economies in cooperating and competing markets. Students will explore performance of stocks, bonds, commodities and other types of investments. The program prepares students to work in the field of financial management either independently or with a corporation, bank, securities firm, non-profit organization or an investment firm.

As society has gone digital, so too have the criminals, terrorists and other threats to our society and nation. The Bachelor of Arts in Cyber Defense and Information Assurance and the Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Digital Forensics degrees at Tiffin University, position current and future law enforcement and national security professionals at the forefront of this new era. Virtually every crime and many of our most serious national security threats now involve some sort of a digital component.

Tiffin University’s curriculum is designed to expose students to real-world problems and real-world solutions. The Digital Forensics major is designed from an investigative and evidence recovery perspective rather than a computer science perspective. The Students that successfully complete the program are eligible to take professional certification tests in Digital Forensics and Mobile Forensics. This prepares our students to begin work in the criminal justice or digital forensics profession on day one after graduation.

Study and evaluate physical evidence from crime scene to courtroom, following the strictest legal and scientific evidence processing rules. We provide a solid foundation for your future in local, state and federal police departments, as well as private investigative services.

Our criminalistics program combines classroom teaching with a unique progression that advances your experience from the crime scene to the courtroom. It’s intense but rewarding and teaches skills you can apply in many ways in public and private sector jobs. It’s also flexible, with online classes starting in January, March, May, July, August and October to accommodate our students’ busy schedules. As with our other criminal justice degree programs, there are no application fees and we accept transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions.

Due to the increasing growth and demand of psychology and mental health needs across the globe, international psychology is quickly becoming a more recognized and relevant sub-discipline, both worldwide and in North America.

As a student in this program, you will learn major theories, research, and applications of psychological knowledge. As a senior, you will focus on an international population/location – either as part of an internship or research project abroad or with an international population or cross-cultural issue/problem within the United States. TU’s esports management concentration deliberately focuses on providing students with a broad base of experience, real-world skills, and knowledge to manage teams, tournaments and gaming conventions. Students will explore the culture, history, and emergence of competitive video game play. Classes will focus on central concepts in competitive video game play and identify the major developments in the business and media surrounding esports. Students will learn the complexities involved in understanding the dynamics of the esports industry and all of its stakeholders, from gamers to billion-dollar media companies. Students will also learn to navigate the structure of esports leagues, teams, players, gaming publishers, tournament operators, media and affiliate organizations. Relevant projects, market analysis and critical thinking will be utilized to understand management approaches that have succeeded and failed with recent esports ventures.

The Human Resource concentration enables the student to integrate the knowledge and skills gained from the core coursework in the MBA program in order to address the issues and challenges faced by today’s human resource management professional. Students will benefit from exposure to theories and applications involved in acquiring and developing talented employees, managing the ongoing employer/employee relationship and providing competitive advantages through strategic human resource policies and practices. In TU’s public history program, students will develop primary and secondary research to interpret historical events, critique information about the diverse human condition and identify assumptions and evidence, to resolve problems in a diverse global environment. Public history places a focus on how to communicate this information, through written and visual design.

The public history program links historical knowledge to professional practice, as all students will be able to work in various applied history professions, including historical consultants, museum professionals, government historians, archivists, oral historians, cultural resource managers, curators, film and media producers, historical interpreters, historic preservationists, policy advisers, local historians and community historical activists.
