University of Findlay's Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences provides advanced training for nuclear medicine technologists seeking to become multi-modality technologists, radiology directors, administrators, researchers, and educators.

The Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences Program was designed as a way for nuclear medicine technologists to elevate their training and certifications in just two years.

The program features further training in the fields of:

• Computed Tomography (CT)  
• Magnetic Resonance (MR)

General Writing
The general writing emphasis provides students the opportunity to develop critical reading, writing, and thinking skills through exposure to a variety of primary and secondary texts. Findlay's children's book illustration major provides a curriculum focused on skills specific to the field of illustration such as drawing, painting, printmaking, design and typography while also integrating coursework in children's literature.  Students work closely with art faculty and the Mazza Museum staff to gain knowledge of the publishing industry and develop their skills in sequential storytelling.

Program Highlights

• Students in the children's book illustration major enjoy access to the Mazza Museum, the most diverse collection of original artwork by children's book illustrators in the world. Students attend annual Mazza conferences, interact with nationally recognized award-winning illustrators, complete internships with the museum, and volunteer with monthly educational events.
• The Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery provides opportunities for art management students to participate in the organization, preparation, and installation of shows. The Lea Gallery presents eight to ten exhibitions throughout the year, including works by students, faculty, and regional and national artists.  Students engage with exhibiting artists through gallery talks, classroom demonstrations, and public presentations.
• Children's book illustration majors have the opportunity to visit nationally-recognized museums and galleries through study trips abroad, annual art program trips to New York City and Chicago, and class trips to museums such as the Toledo Museum of Art and the Detroit Institute of Art.

Exercise science is an interdisciplinary field focused on the study of maintaining and improving the health of patients and clients across the age spectrum. The Exercise Science for Health Professions Program is designed to prepare undergraduate students for entry into a wide variety of disciplines, particularly health professions graduate programs.

The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides a variety of pathways for exercise science students after earning their undergraduate degree. Our curriculum places a high emphas is on comprehensive biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and anatomy courses, giving students the foundational knowledge required to excel at the graduate level in healthcare professions.

This option consists of four years at the University of Findlay and is completed with the awarding of a bachelor's degree.
