In this interdisciplinary master’s degree, you’ll design and build cutting-edge AI technologies for a variety of applications like finance, biotech, cybersecurity, adtech and law. Working with top researchers and accomplished industry experts, you’ll bridge AI and machine-learning models, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning and neural networks and reinforcement learning, with engineering best practices including problem framing, requirements gathering, UI/UX and software development. In addition, you’ll gain hands-on experience with structured and unstructured data using the latest tools like Python, R, Google ML Kit, SQL/NoSQL, and TensorFlow. At Yeshiva College, Bible is a multidimensional discipline. It begins with an effort to understand the Bible in its historical context, as illuminated by the history of the Ancient Near East and its linguistic and physical culture. It continues with the study of the Bible as it has been read and interpreted throughout Jewish history, from second temple texts to the rabbis of the Talmud to the classical medieval commentators, down to the present. The Yeshiva College Bible faculty, immersed in traditional approaches and trained in contemporary scholarship, brings these mutually enriching aspects of the study of Tanakh together in a fashion rarely available elsewhere.

With YU’s master’s in Cybersecurity, you’ll develop the technological and managerial expertise to plan, implement, upgrade, monitor and audit cybersecurity protocols and procedures. You’ll master state-of-the-art technologies and practices, and you’ll get hands-on experience with threat mitigation, detection and defense. Protecting an organization's information assets and technology infrastructure is critical and requires hiring teams of cybersecurity professionals to protect against increasingly frequent attacks. Fueling this growth is the rapid evolution of cyber threats through the expansion of mobile device usage, the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, artificial intelligence and drones.

Yeshiva College offers courses in studio arts (drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture), art history, architectural history, and architectural theory and design.

Courses in studio arts explore practical, structural, and creative ideas in visual media.

Courses in art history and architectural history study the visual arts in their historical context. Students examine each work not only for its intrinsic aesthetic appeal, but also for a perspective into artistic schools and movements, artist careers, and larger social and cultural issues within intellectual history.

The study of economics helps students develop analytical tools to understand how modern economies allocate scarce resources to produce goods and services and how economic performance is affected by policies, technology, and institutions. It also provides students with a rigorous way of thinking about individual, business, and household decision-making.

This track of the Economics major provides ideal training for those interested in law, business, journalism, or public policy.

The Chemistry Department at Yeshiva College offers a rigorous program of study and encourages undergraduate students to engage in research during the academic year and summer to work one-on-one with our faculty members.

Chemistry is vital for students interested in medical and health-related careers, which are based on knowledge of the chemical sciences. It is also ideal for students interested in a broad, liberal arts education, with an emphasis on understanding the nature and interactions of the chemicals that make up the world.

The field of chemistry can lead to careers in research and teaching, medicine and health sciences, and industry and private service. The chemical and pharmaceutical industries provide opportunities for applied chemical research. Medicine and health-science fields emphasize the biologic aspects of advances in chemistry. 

In the M.A. degree in mathematics program, based in New York City, students gain a solid foundation in advanced mathematics and develop skills in mathematical modeling, numerical applications and data analysis in order to succeed in a variety of professions. A master's degree in mathematics opens many doors to jobs in finance, technology, biomedicine and data analysis, among others.
