This postgraduate professional program is designed to develop graduates to be work-ready for careers in nutrition and dietetics across practice areas including clinical dietetics, private practice, food service management, public health nutrition, sports nutrition, and nutrition research. This program develops student competencies to exceed the accreditation requirements of the Dietitians Association of Australia, making graduates eligible to apply for accredited practicing dietitian (APD) status within the Dietitians Association of Australia. This program is distinctive because of its emphasis on developing evidence-based practitioners that have had intensive preparation in evidence-based dietetic practice, nutrition research, and international engagement. All students will be required to participate in an international placement as part of their program.

The combined Masters degree in International Relations and Project Management enables students interested in a career in diplomacy, international trade, government and business to acquire expertise in the planning, implementation and management of projects and programs. The addition of project and program management skills enables you to access more strategic positions in your organisation and to be responsible for overseeing new initiatives involving the management of scope, time, cost and risk. You will graduate with a Master of International Relations and a Master of Project Management upon completion. The combined program is internationally recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The Bachelor of Global Studies (Sustainability) is a unique interdisciplinary degree that will equip you with the capacity to formulate solutions to the challenges of globalisation and the development of sustainable communities. The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance equip you with comprehensive knowledge and applied skills in health, fitness, and sports performance. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic and applied sciences as they apply to personal and community health and fitness, and sports performance at all levels. Focusing on real-world learning, this program is delivered by award-winning teaching staff through significant practical experience and authentic assessment to maximize employment outcomes for graduates. This program allows you the flexibility to tailor your studies to your interests and career aspirations by choosing from a range of subdisciplines, including biomechanics; exercise testing, prescription, and delivery; or physiology and biochemistry of exercise, as well as electives in entrepreneurship and innovation, sport management, and tourism and events management.

This program is primarily delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences through our National Strength and Conditioning Association-accredited High-Performance Training Centre. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to state, national and international athletes and teams. You will also gain industry accreditations in Strength and Conditioning as well as Sports First Aid. The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise and sports performance including strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.

The Bachelor of Jurisprudence offers students the opportunity to develop their legal knowledge and combine this with studies of interest from the Faculty of Society and Design. It is not a program for admission purposes.

The Bachelor of Jurisprudence program provides an opportunity to combine legal subjects of particular interest with study in related disciplines such as international relations, criminology, languages, or communication. The degree structure permits various combinations of law and non-law subjects (including the option of completing a humanities major), which enables you to design a program to meet your particular career interests.

The Bachelor of Film and Television is a heavily hands-on and project-based degree that allows you to balance practical filmmaking production experience with creative practice theory, enabling you to explore and develop your individual creativity and artistic voice. This comprehensive filmmaking program is focused on visual storytelling through the key creative areas of producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. You will be taught by staff with long professional careers in the film, television and screen-based industries, acquiring craft skills in modern production techniques using professional filmmaking equipment and technologies. You will develop strong visual aesthetics and storytelling capabilities and receive insight into the business and industrial aspects of the international film, television and screen-based industries. This three-year program is designed for international students who wish to study via a two-semester a year model, allowing them to complete the program over three year period.

The Master of Construction Practice covers a comprehensive range of subjects in the field of construction practice, focusing on the management and delivery of complex construction projects. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including building structures and soil mechanics, construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, finance and cost planning, project management, refurbishment and retrofitting and risks. The program is accredited by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The program also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License. The ’Professional’ component of the degree involves an additional 20 weeks to the Master of Construction Practice program. This component enables students to develop their work ready skills to expand their analytic and strategic thinking capabilities through self analysis focused on work place outcomes and context. It also provides practical experience for students to appreciate the requirements of an industry workplace and develop their communication skills to improve their employability. Students will undertake either a Work Placement in Australia (210 hours) OR a complete Professional Program (210 hours) that offers students a mix of classroom learning and practical experiences incorporating skills sessions, industry guest involvement, projects and practical assessment pieces replicating workplace tasks.

The Bachelor of Commerce program develops students’ financial literacy, business analytic and decision-making skills, leadership, and management skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies. The combined Masters degree in Valuation and Property Development and Project Management enables students interested in being a development manager to gain specialised knowledge related to property investment and development. Development managers require project management skills to ensure that complex new initiatives are implemented as intended. It is also an international endeavour, where property development and urban renewal is relentless. Therefore, a combined understanding of the property investment process together with the generic principles of successful management of scope, time, cost, risk, human resources, quality, procurement, stakeholders and environmental impact, and their balanced integration is most valuable. Development managers must know how to assess risks, and take them where appropriate, and may be involved in commercial, residential, industrial and civil developments, often involving large-scale projects.
