The Master of Architecture/Master of Project Management is a dual degree that combines an accredited professional degree for a career in architecture, complying with the competency requirements of the Board of Architects Queensland and the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia, with an accredited postgraduate course in project management. This dual degree course is highly-relevant to contemporary demand for leaders in the field to have excellent design and management skills for effective project leadership. The Master of Architecture/Master of Project Management provides an authentic blending of creative practice professional study with contemporary project management. The Master of Architecture subjects are delivered seamlessly with the standard architecture program.  The Master of Architecture is a creative studio-based program focusing heavily upon design through hands-on and digital making with state-of-the-art tools. Project-based design studios focus upon real-world scenarios with specific attention to urbanism, the future of global cities, and the role of architecture and the architect in addressing urban, environmental, social, and technological change. All graduates will complete a design thesis as the cumulative result of the Masters course that demonstrates independent, self-directed critical thinking and sophisticated design capability.  For full-time students, the majority of the Master of Architecture coursework shall be completed before embarking upon the Master of Project Management portion of the degree.  Through the program offerings at the Abedian School of Architecture, issues of pressing international and national concern form the core content of the studio curriculum. Among the most prominent of these are the challenges posed by our contemporary condition globally, one characterised by rapid urbanisation, environmental change, technological emergence, and increasing socioeconomic inequity. The Master of Architecture will prepare students for globally-relevant employment through development of a sophisticated set of disciplinary competencies and acquired knowledge, providing the ability to synthesise diverse information in the resolution of complex creative-design challenges using a globally-applicable skillset that is deployed locally.     Established as a highly-flexible and student-focused degree program, students in the Master of Architecture/Master of Project Management will study for 6 semesters full time but eligible domestic students may also choose to study part-time. Studies include content from the disciplines of architecture, digital media, construction, city planning, urban design, project management and university electives. Key highlights of the program include an annual all-school “charrette”, several off-campus study tours (including a paid international studio trip), a monthly international guest-lecture series, study with distinguished guest faculty and Architects-In-Residence, a bi-annual student exhibition and publication, and an internationally and nationally recognized academic staff of scholars and practitioner-teachers.  Students undertake the Master of Architecture/Master of Project Management in a unique setting: the national and international award-winning Abedian School of Architecture. This facility and its associated Fabrication and Robotics Lab are dedicated for student use, creating an environment to support creative activity that is accessible 24/7 throughout the year. Students enjoy their own studio-based desk in the School provided for the duration of their studies, which becomes the point of personalised contact with program staff for an individualised, highly supported education. The limited student cohort size of the School is maintained to ensure all students have unique access to workshop facilities and program staff that is unparalleled almost anywhere globally.  The Master of Architecture is the terminal award allowing graduates to gain registration as an Architect in Australia and other jurisdictions that recognise the award. Upon completion and to earn registered status, graduates must complete a period of supervised employment experience (minimum 2 years) and pass a registration exam for recognition in Australia. The Master of Architecture provides knowledge, skill, and application (where required) of core competencies including design and documentation, practice management, project management, and understanding of contract law and project procurement.

Bond University’s Master of Occupational Therapy program is designed to produce highly competitive graduates with comprehensive clinical skills as well as possessing a solid business acumen and research experience. It is the first Occupational Therapy Masters in Australia to offer you the opportunity to complete a clinical research project or undertake business electives in preparation for a career in private practice. You will engage in either the Clinically-focused Research Pathway or Business-focused Pathway. The Clinically-focused Research Pathway prepares you for entry into higher research degrees and careers in research and academia, as well as bolstering research networks and culminates in an individual research project that may be eligible for publication.  The Business-focused Research Pathway enables you to undertake business electives that will enable you to undertake management roles, and better prepare you to work in the growing private sector. The Bachelor of Film and Television is a heavily hands-on and project-based degree that allows you to balance practical filmmaking production experience with creative practice theory, enabling you to explore and develop your individual creativity and artistic voice. This comprehensive filmmaking program is focused on visual storytelling through the key creative areas of producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. You will be taught by staff with long professional careers in the film, television and screen-based industries, acquiring craft skills in modern production techniques using professional filmmaking equipment and technologies. The Bachelor of Business prepares students for a variety of possible career paths by offering a broad range of advanced study options. These options include Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Business, Management, Marketing, Marketing Communication and Tourism Management. All students complete a major from one of these options, but may also choose to add a second major, a minor, or create a tailored set of subjects from across the university to complete their degree. Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and May semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management (3 Year Program) will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism and hotel industries. You will develop the knowledge and skills required by managers in modern hospitality and tourism businesses with special emphasis on; hotel, tourism and event operations, sustainable tourism, tourism industry analysis, revenue management, and human resource management. Emphasis is placed on practical and experiential learning through field trips, work experience, internships, and real-life case studies. Students will undertake an Industry Experience Placement or an Employment activity as part of the Beyond Bond program.

Development managers require project management skills to ensure that complex new initiatives are implemented as intended. It is also an international endeavour, where property development and urban renewal is relentless. Therefore, a combined understanding of the property investment process together with the generic principles of successful management of scope, time, cost, risk, human resources, quality, procurement, stakeholders and environmental impact, and their balanced integration is most valuable. Development managers must know how to assess risks, and take them where appropriate, and may be involved in commercial, residential, industrial and civil developments, often involving large-scale projects. Students graduate with a Master of Valuation and Property Development and a Master of Project Management upon completion.
