The Bachelor of International Relations prepares students for fascinating careers in a globalising world. Graduates of the program will gain an insight into the politics, economy, diplomacy both in Australia and other world geographic regions. An in-depth understanding of the world around us and the skills needed for its interpretation, equip students for their future employment in International Relations and many other areas where such capacities are required. The Bachelor of Business prepares you for leadership roles in today’s global businesses. New subjects in Business Model Generation and Business Model Execution will develop every student’s entrepreneurial and innovation abilities. All students in this program will be involved with ideation, creation, validation and execution of a business. This gives you the edge over other business graduates.

The combined Masters degree in International Relations and Project Management enables students interested in a career in diplomacy, international trade, government and business to acquire expertise in the planning, implementation and management of projects and programs. The addition of project and program management skills enables you to access more strategic positions in your organisation and to be responsible for overseeing new initiatives involving the management of scope, time, cost and risk. You will graduate with a Master of International Relations and a Master of Project Management upon completion. The combined program is internationally recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The Master of Sport Management (Professional) is taught in English and consists of 165 credit points including 20-week professional component, which is equivalent to 92 weeks of full-time study. The Master of Sport Management (Professional) explores the professional challenges and opportunities for managers in the international sports industry. This program is designed to enhance the career opportunities of established professionals, as well as assist individuals aspiring to forge a career in this unique sector. It explores the many aspects of sport management from a grassroots level through to elite professional sports organisations and events. The Master Degree explores a number of topic areas centered around emerging job descriptions for project managers, drawn from product manager, designer thinker, change agent, Agile coach, business analyst and entrepreneur. The program comprises six core, research methods, research project (double-weighted) and three elective subjects.

The Bond MBA is a generalist management program of 12 subjects. Designed to blend industry-relevant research with practical applications and challenges, the intended learning outcomes are centred on the three pillars of leadership, global business and entrepreneurship, developing graduates who can think critically and strategically in this context. The program is designed to provide graduates with the core underlying technical skills that inform effective decision making, framed around the development of the interpersonal, cross-cultural and communication skills that are required to lead in the implementation of these decisions.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management at Bond will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism industry, including hotels, resorts, airlines, restaurants, theme parks, cruise lines, destination marketing, and management organizations, and events. Bond has strong relationships with Marriott, Accor, Hilton, InterContinental, Sheraton, Wyndham, and many other international tourism organizations. The Gold Coast has over 300 hotels and resorts plus dozens of major attractions in the region, providing you with numerous opportunities to gain experience at your fingertips.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism and hotel industries. You will develop the knowledge and skills required by managers in modern hospitality and tourism businesses with special emphasis on; hotel, tourism and event operations, sustainable tourism, tourism industry analysis, revenue management, and human resource management. Emphasis is placed on practical and experiential learning through field trips, industry experience, internships, and real-life case studies. Students will undertake an Industry Experience Placement or an Employment Activity as part of the Beyond Bond program.

The Bachelor of Property provides a foundation for careers in the property development and management industry and the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation.  The degree provides a comprehensive range of subjects including construction practices, feasibility studies, finance, investment and valuation, property markets, corporate real estate, land economy, sustainable development and urban development.

The Master of International Relations program is an innovative, forward-looking program that is attuned to the dynamics of the globalizing world and its multiple diplomatic channels. The program provides you with a solid grounding in contemporary, theoretical, and cultural issues and, through an enhanced understanding of regional and global politics, development, strategic decision making, sociology, and economy, you will be able to further your career in diplomacy, international trade, government, and business. At the end of the program, you will undertake a professional portfolio involving your research and practical expertise in your chosen vocational area.  Eligibility criteria apply to the professional placement option.  The program duration is 4 semesters and 20 weeks (92 weeks).

This combined degree allows students to complete their program in a shorter duration than completing back-to-back single degrees. Individually, both degrees equip students to think creatively and critically, problem-solve, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global context that is increasingly uncertain and complex. In combination, these two degrees not only present graduates with a broad range of career options but also provide an opportunity to specialise in their chosen career. The variety of possible career alternatives offered through the Bachelor of Business is found in the scope of majors on offer. These include Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Business, Management, Marketing, Marketing Communication, and Tourism Management. Students are also encouraged to complete an internship, and/or undertake study abroad opportunities or a study tour to further augment this highly experiential program. The Bachelor of Commerce degree is more technical and discipline-focused and aims to prepare students for a career as a professional in a specific field. This degree is designed to develop students’ financial competencies, business analytic and decision-making skills and collaboration skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. Students complete a major which specifically prepares them for a professional career in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Big Data, Economics or Finance fields. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are generally eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies.
