The Master of Sport Management (Professional) is taught in English and consists of 165 credit points including 20-week professional component, which is equivalent to 92 weeks of full-time study. The Master of Sport Management (Professional) explores the professional challenges and opportunities for managers in the international sports industry. New subjects in Business Model Generation and Business Model Execution will develop every student’s entrepreneurial and innovation abilities. The Master of City Planning program aims to produce innovative practice-oriented graduates with the capacity to play a leading role in creating sustainable cities and regions.  This program is designed to equip students for rewarding professional work planning for 21st century global-local challenges including rapid urbanisation, climate change, resource constraints, globalisation and technological disruption.  With its distinctive interdisciplinary urban design orientation, the program will cultivate city planners and urban designers with the global perspective, knowledge, skills and adaptability to make a significant contribution to addressing these challenges. The Master of Project Management program provides a comprehensive business-ready foundation that will equip students from any background with the knowledge required to develop a career and expertise in project management. The Master of Project Management features four distinct study themes including strategy, sustainability, managing complex problems and teams, and virtual teams and global working. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including conflict resolution, effective integrated planning, management, market performance, portfolio management, public and private sector investment and risk identification. External speakers from leading investment banks, credit agencies and portfolio fund managers contribute to case studies and workshops.

The Master of International Relations program is an innovative, forward-looking program that is attuned to the dynamics of the globalizing world and its multiple diplomatic channels. The program provides you with a solid grounding in contemporary, theoretical, and cultural issues and, through an enhanced understanding of regional and global politics, development, strategic decision making, sociology, and economy, you will be able to further your career in diplomacy, international trade, government, and business. At the end of the program, you will undertake a professional portfolio involving your research and practical expertise in your chosen vocational area.  Eligibility criteria apply to the professional placement option.  The program duration is 4 semesters and 20 weeks (92 weeks).

The program provides students with a solid foundation in a variety of business practices, plus the ability to gain a specialisation.  The professional program follows the same structure as the Master of Business program with an additional 20-week Professional component. The program focuses on developing self-analysis and reflective learning skills and applying theoretical solutions for practical workplace problems. The program also provides global networking opportunities. The program equips students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in Business with practical insights delivered through case studies, guest lectures and work-integrated learning. Team building is encouraged through group projects and communication skills are enhanced through class presentations.

The Master of Actuarial Science (Specialisation) is an innovative and immersive program that combines elements of economics, finance, statistics, data analytics and advanced mathematics to develop techniques for the management of risk and business decision making.  The Master of Actuarial Science (Specialisation) will be taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to Bond University's Bond FinTech Hub and Bloomberg data-sourcing terminals. The program will develop skills in the challenge of handling 'big data’ to create practical solutions for real-world problems.  Employment opportunities include working as an investment analyst, portfolio manager, actuarial consultant, insurance actuary, superannuation actuary, risk analyst, big data analyst, liability manager and high-level manager. The successful completion of the program at an appropriate level of performance will lead to Part I qualification with the Actuaries Institute.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management at Bond will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the tourism industry, including hotels, resorts, airlines, restaurants, theme parks, cruise lines, destination marketing, and management organizations and events. Bond has strong relationships with Marriott, Accor, Hilton, InterContinental, Sheraton, Wyndham, and many other international tourism organizations to ensure that you have the opportunity to see real industry projects and undertake internships throughout your studies.

Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and May semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management (3 Year Program) will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism and hotel industries. You will develop the knowledge and skills required by managers in modern hospitality and tourism businesses with special emphasis on; hotel, tourism and event operations, sustainable tourism, tourism industry analysis, revenue management, and human resource management. Emphasis is placed on practical and experiential learning through field trips, work experience, internships, and real-life case studies. Students will undertake an Industry Experience Placement or an Employment activity as part of the Beyond Bond program.

The Master of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) provides a wide range of skills that can be applied to global property markets. This program is designed to equip graduates with strong knowledge and advanced technical skills applicable to a variety of career paths such as property valuation and investment, finance, asset management and research. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including finance and taxation, corporate portfolio management, risk identification and management, feasibility analysis, law, property valuation and market analysis. This degree provides the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation. Professional Portfolio is a 20 week, 45 credit point subject available to Masters of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) students in the Faculty of Society & Design. This subject is strongly experientially oriented and encourages students to develop their professional skills in a real world environment. The subject will ensure that students combine self-analysis and reflective learning skills with professional methodologies, so as to expand analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. It will provide practical experience for students to develop their skills in a profession relevant to their Master’s specialisation. All students will complete a 2,000-word scoping document, and either undertake a work placement in Australia for 210 hours (which includes an employer’s report) and reflective journal (up to 5,000 words) OR complete a collaborative research project totalling up to 15,000 words. All students will submit a final professional portfolio collection of documents, highlighting their practical and theoretical expertise in their profession of choice.
